Ginger White, Herman Cain's Alleged Mistress, Matter of Fact About Affair

George Stephanopoulus' toe-curling interview with Ginger White, the alleged mistress of Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, is the sound of a candidacy dying. White says Cain's not fit to be president, among other things.

White's claims a "very casual affair" with Cain over 13 years, in which coincidentally, he gave her cash and gifts over the past two-three years, and they went on trips together. He also texted her feverishly in the midst of the recent flap over sexual harassment allegations against him. But she says he never asked her to keep her mouth shut. White also says, "It wasn't cash for sex."

Stephanopoulos actually asked her, "Was it fun or was it just sex?" Well, there's highbrow television indeed. He failed to ask her, however, about her position on the economy, Libya, Iraq, health care, and congressional gridlock.

There's a lot more, but it makes us weary.

For his part, Cain has denied any extra marital, and thus far, isn't dropping his campaign. He sent out a fundraising letter calling White, "troubled," and saying, "The woman's story is completely false." That's a hard position to hold when there's obviously a trail of evidence that suggests the contrary.

One recalls Gary Hart's challenge during the 1980 presidential campaign to reporters looking into his affair with Donna Rice. "Follow me around. I don't care. I'm serious. If anybody wants to put a tail on me, go ahead. They'll be very bored," he said. They did, and found a picture of him with Rice in bathing suit and on his lap. Hart dropped out.

It’s: “Tamagotchi meets Pokemon” but with real fusion between the two and for smart-phones. People were crazy about Tamagotchis. It gave the user a sense of pride. You created and developed something and then measured your success by seeing how it fared against the elements. It gave the user a unique feeling of power. The circus goes on and on and on. As I look at the sorry sorry set of Republican “rivals” on the other side, it makes me more thankful than ever... to have Barack Obama as President of the United States, and as a viable candidate for re-election. Mr. Obama: your heart, your values, and your basic decency are all in the right place. But...your hands are tied. Unfortunately they were tied by us, the electorate.....when we failed to provide you with a Congress that you can work with. Instead, you are saddled with a don’t-tax-the-1%-do-nothing Congress that battles you at every turn, while the people suffer. God, they don't EVEN let you pass your own appointments. It's not Tea-publican gridlock - it's Tea-publican sabotage. Heck, it's Tea-publican treason....while the 99% suffers.  And then they try to pin the blame on Mr. Obama. These people have no shame...or else its been purchased by those who can afford to do so. And when grandma gets her meager Social Security check, they call it socialism. You can’t make this stuff up! Thankfully, with Occupy Wall Street America has found its voice : a voice that reminds us that people -the  ordinary working people of this country- really DO matter. Instead of talking about less government , and more and more painful cuts, it’s a voice that demands a government that WORKS, a government that works FOR ALL OF US, not just for a favored few, not just for the rich. It’s a voice that comes up from the grassroots, and lifts us up: because it insists that this land IS our land...and that we WANT IT BACK! And most importantly, it's a voice that will help us re-elect the President AND give him a more progressive Congress to work with. Mr. Obama: I wish you well. You STILL give me hope.
