Mo Staches Mo Problems: A November Series on Facial Hair, Continued

We're hitting the tail end of Movember. After weeks of growth, each moustache is full and proud, like that of a walrus. We hit up the office of travel startup Wanderfly to check on their Movember team's progress. Guys at the company were encouraged to join by team captain Cezary Pietrzak, who said he "bullied everyone into participating." Cezary started a team for local startups, and also alerted us to this delightful chart on the trustworthiness of beards and moustaches. You can donate to the team here, and continue on for priceless quotes about magical 'mos.

Cezary Pietrzak:

In a word, describe how your moustache is feeling:
Mature and confident.

What has the public response to your moustache been like? Do people think you're a sexual predator?
People's perceptions have changed over time. They've shifted from bewilderment to grudging support. And no.

What has the response been from your significant other?
I have a close female friend that is starting to be enamored by the moustache. She's complimentary.

Are you modeling your moustache after any particular style or celebrity?
Yes. I'm going for Brad Pitt in Inglourious Basterds.

Are you making practical use of your moustache, such as using it for storage?
Not storage. Maybe as a scratching mechanism? Or for stimulated shaving? Heightened kissing?

How's your razor burn doing?
The first time I chopped everything off, my cheeks were seeing the light of day for the first time in two years. I hadn't cracked open my shaving cream in a while. But I've been growing it since, so it's OK.

Gaston Blanchet:

In a word, describe how your moustache is feeling:
Dirty and sad.

What has the public response to your moustache been like? Do people think you're a sexual predator?
Yeah. People have been very skeptical. They think it has dubious intentions.

What has the response been from your significant other?
Very negative. No play.

Are you modeling your moustache after any particular style or celebrity?
Hispanic pool boy.

Are you making practical use of your moustache, such as using it for storage?
No. I wish I could do more.

How's your razor burn doing?
I'm so patchy that I don't have to shave.

Kerrin Sheldon:

In a word, describe how your moustache is feeling:
Dignified. Dangerous. Creep. Like the Hulk.

What has the public response to your moustache been like? Do people think you're a sexual predator?
It's been alright. I get looks on the subway. I get approving looks from tattoo and piercing people. A few ew's.

What has the response been from your significant other?
Approval. Strong approval!

Are you modeling your moustache after any particular style or celebrity?
It turns out that people think this looks like the Hulk, or a cowboy.

Are you making practical use of your moustache, such as using it for storage?
I just use it for fear and intimidation. Also to fit into Williamsburg.

How's your razor burn doing?
Great!
