More Scientology Hip Hop, Yo: The Curious Career of Chill EB

Categories: Scientology

ChillBusted.JPG
Thursday night, we were quick to jump on the leak of a video that was only meant for internal Scientology consumption. It featured pallid European Scientologists breakdancing and pantomiming to a hip hop track that extolled the virtues of the International Association Scientologists -- the IAS.

Within days, the video had gone somewhat viral, and news outlets were trying to come up with ways to convey just how uncool the thing was...

The Huffington Post: "Time for yet another Scientology video to derail to the public!...And oh man, it makes them look kind of silly! Total amateur hour over in the I.A.S. studios."

Mother Jones: "Behold: the music video that officially makes all concept of satire irrelevant."

SPIN: "The evil Lord Xenu doesn't stand a chance."

Fun stuff. However, the IAS video wasn't made by the hip hop artist whose song was used, and it's also not the only Scientology-themed music he's done. After the jump, we consider the career of rapper Chill EB, and his involvement with L. Ron Hubbard's wacky church...

We gather that Chill -- who also goes by the more mundane moniker Norman Berry -- had some success on the rap scene 20 years ago, when he was a Bay Area up-and-comer.

Dig the old school vibe here on his 1990 hit, "Let's Roll":

As he says on his Facebook page, he had started out just a few years earlier:

My career began in 1985 after relocating from Dallas, Texas to northern California. Upon my arrival I met 2 guys who were considered the best rappers in town. We formed a group and began writing rhymes which eventually turned into songs.

"Let's Roll" was his first solo effort. He had success with a few other songs, and also got regular work in television commercials. SEGA was one of his regular gigs, and here's an example of one of those spots, from 1991:

By then, with the Gulf War happening in Iraq, Chill writes that his music changed:

Shortly after the war began I had an epiphany. My music began to focus on social themes more so than party themes.

He put out some more songs that got some airplay, and after other high points -- including a 1994 appearance with the California Symphony -- he put an end that year to his career. "I retired from the entertainment business altogether," he writes.

A couple of years ago, however, he suddenly resurfaced.

"I released the first project on my own label. Kathartic Music Group. I recorded the song and video as an independent with my own funding," he writes at his Facebook page.

The song was "Y'All Busted," and it strongly went after psychiatrists who prescribe drugs for children with ADHD...

If Chill EB did, on his own, come up with an anti-psychiatry slant for his rap comeback, he was soon being trotted out at Scientology events to perform the song, which carries a theme that is near and dear to the psychiatry-hating church.

In London in 2009 2010, Chill performed "Y'All Busted" on a massive stage done up in the usual over-the-top, baroque Scientology style before an audience of thousands of church members.

For some reason, Chill has disabled the embed function on that video, or we'd show it to you here. Follow the link, however, to see the rapper in his new role, performing for the delight of Scientology.

Earlier this year, Chill EB went even more boldly into Scientology's camp (when questioned, he tends to dance around the issue of whether he's actually a member of the church). In the spring, he put out a new song and video, "Dauntless, Defiant, and Resolute," that extolled the virtues of the IAS. (The St. Petersburg Times, in its excellent new series about the way Scientology pressures church members to donate money in painfully huge amounts, defined the IAS this way: "The International Association of Scientologists was founded in 1984 to protect the church from threats, assure its expansion and provide aid to individual Scientology churches and groups.")

The Scientology researchers at WhyWeProtest.net, the website of Project Chanology, the wing of Anonymous that protests the church, were soon onto Chill EB's new release. But try as they might, the resourceful Internet sleuths at the site could not get their hands on the video. It was apparently only made available to IAS chapters and other Scientology entities, to pump up morale as the church continued its high-pressure fundraising.

WWP did manage to get some photos from the set of Chill's new video, including this one:

ChillOnSet.jpg

There's also this odd still photo of Chill EB with some extras, and we can't help wonder what his video is all about:

ChillGuns.jpg

At some point, in the last few months, the Copenhagen chapter of the IAS put together its own video to Chill EB's track, and the result was leaked to YouTube. (The Cophenhagen church -- Advanced Organization and Saint Hill EU -- pulled down the video a few days later, but by then it had been copied.) If you haven't already seen it, you really must:

Impact, the magazine of the IAS, had this to say about the song (and the original Chill EB video, which, outside of Scientology, still hasn't been seen):

Take the breadth of our IAS campaigns and the scale of our accomplishments...

Add an unrelenting rhythm track and the dedicated rap of crusader, Chill E.B....

And the end result is a music video to celebrate 27 years of the IAS that will sweep this world from one end to the other!

Well, yes, that last part is certainly true, though not in the form they intended.

If Chill EB has provided the IAS with a theme song, his most recent release is a gift to another Scientology front group, the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR).

Ah, the CCHR. Some of you may have experienced the CCHR's Sunset Boulevard museum in Los Angeles, "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death," in which the Holocaust, for example, is blamed not on Hitler or the Nazis but on the psychiatric industry.

It's classic stuff. But as we noted recently in our big countdown, The Top 25 People Crippling Scientology, it shouldn't be hard to get some public support for CCHR's mission, except that the church puts people like Jan Eastgate in charge:

As President of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, Scientology's anti-psychiatry front group, Jan Eastgate was actually pretty good at her job. Sure, of all Scientology's front groups, CCHR was probably the easiest ship to steer, since it isn't difficult to tap into resentment and opposition to big pharmaceutical companies. And unlike Narconon, which covertly delivers Scientology processes to drug addicts, or Applied Scholastics, which covertly delivers Scientology processes to school children, CCHR rarely triggers lawsuits and school board meetings because it operates at the public policy level and has relatively little interaction with the general public.

Even with those advantages, as head of CCHR, Eastgate sometimes can't help shoot herself in the foot, such as by routinely citing psychiatry's "Nazi roots" and its having caused the Holocaust. But unsubstantiated bombast and Nazi comparisons are nothing compared to the mess Eastgate has since put herself -- and by extension, Scientology -- in, when she was charged in Australia this past June with "perverting the course of justice." Those charges date to 1985, when she was head of the CCHR Australia. She is accused of coaching an 11-year old girl, Carmen Rainer, along with Rainer's mother, to lie to authorities about Carmen having been sexually abused by her stepfather, Robert Kerr, in order to head off potentially bad publicity for Scientology. And yet, CCHR's website still lists Eastgate as its President.

Behold, now, Chill EB's latest valentine to Scientology, "Define Better," a slickly-produced, what-about-the-children emotional appeal that is designed to do two things: 1) convince listeners that any prescribing of drugs for children is evil, and 2) hide any connection to Scientology -- until, that is, you press the "learn more" button and get taken to CCHR's website.

Enjoy this newest addition to Yo! Scientology Raps:

As for Chill EB's new audience, we will share with you what the sleuths at WWP dug up, apparently from an appearance this May in Las Vegas.

ChillVegas.jpg

Chill does look like he's doing his best to be "dauntless, defiant, and resolute," but that lilly white audience of middle-aged OTs soaking it up? Well, we just hope he's getting paid well with all of that donated church member cash that the IAS is rolling in.

I used to like the voice, however I am personal friends will Chill and I find your ridicule offensive. At least he is trying to make the world a better place, but all you can do is sit on your ass and write quibs at anyone who tried to do anything that is not the status quo like make rap songs about clubbing. I'm sick of this establishment backing rag.

At first I thought, "Oh How funny, a guy is posting as Chill EB". Then I realised it WAS Chill EB. I nearly had a hernia from laughing so hard. That career is off tha hook G! ROFLMAO.

Chill, I'm glad you are communicating here. The mission of science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard was to "salvage this sector of the galaxy," because he claimed 75 million years ago, Xenu, the "evil galactic overlord" dropped aliens in volcanoes which are now attached to us, as Body Thetans. According to Hubbard's Scientology, only their auditing can remove these clusters of dead space alien souls. Using this auditing process, Scientology's plan is to "clear the planet" and make everyone -- governments, medicine, education, business -- run in accordance with the writing and principles of L. Ron Hubbard.

Hubbard, a space-time traveler, outlined a far-fetched 4 quadrillion year history of the Universe, and also claimed that he could date a person's past life -- using the e-meter -- to the nearest second, to lives lived trillions of years ago. YouTube is loaded with tapes of Hubbard speaking and lecturing about such things as his trips to Venus and the Van Allen belt.

Before Hubbard created Scientology/Dianetics,  he was a follower of Jack Parsons, who was an exponent of Aleister Crowley, the world's foremost Satanist in the 20th century. There, L. Ron Hubbard learned Satanic rituals and hypnotism, which along with Freud's theories, formed the basis of Dianetics. One of the reasons Hubbard hated psychiatrists so much, is that the medical association shut down Dianetics, and that is when Hubbard converted his therapy into a "religion" and called it Scientology.

Individuals have spent from a few hundred thousand to over a million dollars, just to take courses to learn Scientology, and the secrets about Xenu. We believe Scientology is a dangerous trap, designed mainly to get people's money.

Just as you consider yourself to be a social activist, most of us are social activists, protesting the abuses and trap that is Scientology, and their front groups. I am not an ex-member, but there are hundreds of ex-members who protest Scientology.

YO CHILL EB !!!

Hey my man, how you doing, you will remember me from back in the day, I'm a buddy of Sonny Renouf and we met on the freestyle circuit back in the 1990's in Cali. I'm sure we had some late nights in Pittsburg CA, along the Railroad Avenue cocktail bars.

I knew Oliver Sain (RIP) and that's how we hooked up. I don't want to give my name here because I know what these scientology guys are about, they will be ringing my phone and stealing my trash.

Listen dogg, you gotta know what you're into here. Some of these guys are right!

Go to YouTube and you need to search out "What's The Matter With You, Hat?" which is a video clip where L Ron Hubbard is talking about all kinds of crazy stuff but the racist shit is there and also the anti-Christian stuff is there. LRH was best buddies with Aleister Crowley, dog, he ain't cool at all.

If you're making money from scientology then all good, but be careful with those guys!! Stay away from the shit they be trying to put in your head. I'm just trying to tell it like it is brother. You don't need that.

In fact - you could be an even bigger star that you ever imagined - if you went public NOW and rejected all that scientology stuff, it would make World Headlines, and you would be on the cover of magazines and news articles for real.

You got to think for yourself, man.

Also - check it out, L Ron Hubbard wrote to his wife telling her she needed a "nigger" to do the housework. All the evidence is out there. LRH was not a friend to the black man.

Don't sell yourself out to these freaks Chill.

Peace out.

Meanwhile, out there in the wide world of entheta:

" . . . One of my favorite theatergoing experiences in recent years was Circle Theatre’s 2008 holiday production of A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant. If you missed that nontraditional and rather biting musical, it featured a cast of children reenacting the story of L. Ron Hubbard’s founding the Church of Scientology as if it were a warm-hearted Christmas show. I’m still not sure how Circle executive director Rose Pearson got approval from the board for that one, which left some audience members cheering and others clapping politely but suspiciously, perhaps fearing they’d been duped. But that show remains my gold standard for artistic bravery during a holiday season when many theaters rely on familiar, comforting cash cows to help fund the rest of their seasons. . . "

http://www.fwweekly.com/index....

Two reality checks here: Out there in the greater blogosphere, the word Scientology is a joke. This is primarily due to L. Ron Hubbard being a rather overt charlatan.

Second, to folks like "Alberta", we are concerned with criminal activity here, the criminal activity of your cult. So, no. We decline tagging along for one of your spiritual joyrides.

Alberta

Being a scientologist myself, and experiencing both the internal projects and activities inside the Church, and also other internal activities of other groups I can say one thing for certain about Mr Ortega and the "let´s make funny of these scientologists again" types: LIGHTEN UP WILL YA! All groups, companies etc, make internal kind of "silly" films and events. Groups that are more enthusiastic and positive, like some religious groups, some sport fan clubs, some multilevel marketing groups - they make "over the top" enthusiastic material for internal use, and sometimes external, that for the cynik, for the "I´m more mature and intelligent than these clowns", will be "too much" and totally "over the top".

Make a test: Look at the video with no prejudice, imagine these are people who are inspired by the help they provide to people (Yes! The pieces of so-call "true tales" you find when looking for it is NOT representative of what´s going on in Scientology, and the truth will never reach you unless you really want to know) and you will see some people enjoying their work in a light hearted way. And, isn´t it a sign of openness and nothing to hide, that the Church so easily posts a less serious thing like this on the net?

MarkStark

Alberta! You are telling people to look only at the message, without reading about how an organization operates, or even what they REALLY believe. People deserve to know about Xenu!

Jim Jones, of Jonestown, where over 900 people knowingly drank poisoned Kool-Aide to kill themselves, were nice people, with a beautiful message of loving Jesus and creating a sustainable, independent community of loving, caring people. Look what happened to them!

We believe people in Scientology cannot see what it has turned into: an abusive, corrupt, money-sucking machine. Good people, but operating under a corrupt system.

Hmm.. The 'message' seems to be that we need a totalitarian society, Scientology, that rivals Orwells 1984.. Because ADHD is a flaky diagnosis?

Ok.

First: I am not 100% positive if this is real Chill EB, although it's pretty convincing.

Second: regardless if it is an OSA bot or the man himself (Chill EB), some of you peeps are being real asses. I understand the frustration and all (I am an Ex Scilon), but the rude awakening thing at that extent, might be not the right approach at this time.

Third: Scientology is designed to be desirable and likable.

Message to Chill EB: Please try to understand where others coming from, with all that negativity, like I understand your positivity... I think you are a good man, artist, father, etc. I would like to believe same things about myself, to some extent. I devoted 15 years of my life to Scn, training, auditing, you name it. Now I am a "Suppressive Person". Just think about it.

Please, get in touch with Tony. And please, don't believe anyone in the church completely, no matter how nice or logical they are. Keep it to yourself, keep it real. I respect you and things you do for good causes.

You are right. It is possible it is not the real Chill E.B. But it is not a cult sock. The writing is too realistic for one of them to do. Could be a clever troll though. We won't really know unless Chill calls Tony. If a troll did this, it would be a clever way of getting Chill's attention, wouldn't it?

Its kind of shameful to see some of the comments on this thread. Some here are posting things under the presumption that Chill EB knows what they are talking about, without even knowing how involved he is in knowing Scientology policy and it's Office Of Special Affairs. Most artists and celebrities from Celebrity Centre don't even know they have a handler.  Most Scientologists are aware of TR-L. None of us even know how much training he's had in Scientology, or how long he;s been a member. Yeah, he wrote the IAS song. Does he even know what the IAS really is? I doubt it.

I give him much credit for coming here and commenting. You know we never see much of that from scientologists ( exceptfor Mark MIglio, but thats because he's an illegal Preclear presumably making amends so he has a spot on the upper bridge next lifetime as most try).

Some of you sound like bullies! I suspect it's the non exscientologists doing that, or I would hope so. Bullying and baiting are juvenile and are not going to help in getting him to do an interview with Tony.

I doubt Tony will be granted an interview, his handlers won't allow it.

I thank you for your sentiment. You are absolutely correct. These "bullies" wouldn't have that same tough attitude though it it weren't for the fact that they get to do it from the comfort of there home or cave, or wherever they dwell in hiding. It comes with the territory though. After I did Y'ALL BUSTED last year, which was totally and entirely independent. In fact no one on the cast or crew are affiliated with the groups these people are in a frenzy about! That is the story! And it's funny to me. I asked "Tony" for his number. I will interview with him right now if he plans to be fair. If he plans to turn it into a "Let's Bash Chill E.B. Moment" it wouldn't be a fair and full interview.  I hope he understands that. I conveyed this to him in another thread we are communicating on. I have to go now. Any comments send them to me at www.facebook.com/realchilleb

Just curious, Chill E.Boob.. when the cult tires of you & no longer wants you to perform at their dull events, where are you going to go with your career? Chill, I am glad to see you write that you are not yet on the bridge. This gives you time to read up on both sides of the Scientology issue. You won't have to look far to see some pretty sad and disturbing stories of former members. I, myself, was in for many years and wish there had been a way to really evaluate what I was getting myself into before I jumped in. You sound like a smart guy who is not going to just jump in or you would have already with all the attention from scientologists who have befriended you since you began doing shows for the church. A wise man seeks truth. Seek the truth about this organization because once you are a member you are subject to its rules, which if you decide you don't agree with them, you will find the decision can effect your life and your family and your livelihood. There is a thing called 'disconnection' . You never want to be forced to disconnect from your loved ones and friends as many scientologists have when  forced to make that decision. Find out the history of why Sea Org members don't have children, why they aren't allowed to. What happened to those children. Visit exscientologykids. I will cuss your ass out at any given moment. Do you really think I care to hear what you have to say? I mean come on dude, we don't even know each other and we were never properly introduced? You read my resume Radio Paul. You seem to want to know who I am.

No JustCallMeMary this comment just did it. I thought this was about me,  You crossed a fine line for bringing up names of Innocent people especially my kids I don't take it too kindly. If you have a valid problem with me then take it up with me. Your argument is just as garbage as you are and that's the real story. As far as intimidating me. Not at all. God has my back. Furthermore, on that not they can kiss my ass.Tony, should you read this post attempt to contact me on Twitter.

I will also note you chose to make an issue abut the one thing you thought you could argue on. Everything else you dismissed because you cant deal with it. My advice to you is take a month off from Scientology, meet the now thousands of victims of Scientology, speaking out. Google Gerry Armstrong, Marty Rathbun. Talk to Mark Headly, who had to be rescued by the police from Scientology. Read the Tampa Times and see the interviews about people being bullied in to giving over their retirement funds to Scientology. Show up at the Org you opened or visit the DC Org unannounced and see the lack of public. These Orgs are ghost towns.

Radio Paul
Radio Paul

Did you get raped too? Lots of kids in Scientology do. Make excuses for that too. We are not talking a spanking but a beating. But go a head and justify that too. I no you don't care, Sociologist never do when it comes to their cults abuses. Those other references are from a well documented histor of L Ron Hubbard being a total bigot. Hey but try and rewrite history LOL Oh yeah the IAS is going to save the planet but can't address their own lies and criminal abuses.

Vulpes
Vulpes

Do you care that your #1 fan and Scientology leader of San Francisco, Jeffrey Quiros, flew Gabriel Williams-- a Bay Area Scientologist-- to FL so he could elude authorities after raping and abusing Jennifer Gorman (a minor at the time)? He then was caught in a sting when he admitted to it over the phone. This is Scientology. This is what you are rapping.

RP, all this stuff you're talking about seems like personal stuff to me. I know people that got spankings. Hell I got em growing up. My parents friends had permission to discipline us. They all had that capability and parental consent. Now, the "cases" you mention, and the allegations you make sound horrible. I wouldn't wish anyone to feel hurt by me or anyone I know. Saying that, I say that I can not deny or confirm these allegations. These other references mentioned? I don't know what the hell they're talking about. And I don't care.

Quit talking like a clam. Your ignorance is showing JustCallMeMary! Chilly Da Fools xenophobic video crosses the line of civility, reality and in to hate speech.

JustCallMeMary
JustCallMeMary

Your ignorance is showing, Garry. You just don't know when to draw the line. What is it you are trying to accomplish by bringing up his family by name? To intimidate him? Yeh, thats what it is..... thats how OSA works. Don't ask who is the cult apologist here when you are doing what OSA does to its critics to introvert them. This guy is not a classed auditor whose been in for years... he's being used by the cult. The fact that he came here to comment says a lot about how unindoctrinated he is but you can bet that by tomorrow, OSA will be onto him about this and if he does go along with what they tell him to do, he'll have the justification that this was an unsafe place and that some people here crossed the lines of civility.

Radio Paul
Radio Paul

You have zero tolerance for reality. Like most cult members you come up just long enough to realize you are supporting a criminal organization, cant deal with it and go back in to your hole. Hey ever hear the Wally Hanks video, you know the OT8 beating the child. You can hear the kid screaming and Wally Hanks tells him to keep looking at the picture of L Ron Hubbard and take strength from it. Yeah your cult is responsible for that. Do a video condemning that child abuse, until you do, you are just a hypocrite in my book. Did you know Amy Scobee was raped in the Sea Org at age 16 and the COS covered it up? Thought you might want to check this out too,As long as a white foreman is there, they will prevent soil erosion; but the moment that a white foreman turns his back — boo! There goes the whole program. And you finally get up to the point of where he's [native] supposed to take care of something, a lesson which has never been taught to the native of South Africa.–L. Ron Hubbard, 15th ACC (Power of Simplicity) lecture "Education: Point of Agreement", 30 Oct 1956.

GarryS
GarryS

Cult apologist now, Mary?  And when did YOU create the rules?  Chill E. Boob's kids are adults now, and if Chill is a Scientologist, then we can assume his kids are.. their Facebook pages lists Scilon friends as does Chill's ex-wife, Yvette.

JustCallMeMary
JustCallMeMary

Knock it off Garry. Kids are off limits in the civil world. Hinting at your knowledge of this mans life, as if you investigated him ( which you probably did ), is not helping here. You are no longer helping the Church oif Scientology Office Of Special Affairs so stop acting like you are. You are on the other side of the fence now and he does not deserve what you are doing.

GarryS
GarryS

Uh-oh. Chill E.Boob is being out-ethics.  Your own comments reflect a miserable old man with a faded career allowing himself to being played by a destructive cult in hopes of squeezing out one more stretch of celebrity...hell ya, Rapping Gramps.  How does it feel to have your life and your "career" controlled by your minders in Scientology?  Where have you performed for a crowd recently that wasn't a Scientology event??  Hmmm.. Garry, while I appreciate your concerns everything is fine with me. Don't you worry. What you should be worrying about is what is bothering you. You seem like a miserable woman. I usually do not outward judge a person I've never met. In this case I think I'm correct in saying you are a miserable, sad, vitriolic old woman with an ax to grind. Am I right?Jasen, Devon, and Joshua love me. I played a huge role in molding them into the outstanding kids they grew to be. They are men now and I am VERY proud of them. They don't appear on any list you speak of simply because they, like me have net taken a course. They think highly of me. I taught them everything from how to read, to how to tie their shoe, to how to play basketball, to how to be gentlemen of upstanding character. I appreciate your concerns but everything is taken care of. And if you continue to speak to me like some mean old bat I will start being disrespectful to you. And since I've never had auditing I am not possibly close to clear. I may cuss your ass out at any given moment. I have a zero tolerance to bull shit. So, if you want me to continue being a gentleman to you I suggest you change the way you chose to speak to me. Thank you.

The inference of your article suggests that "you have some secretive video" and that I do not even appear in the video. Seeming as if you have just discovered something I've been hiding. Whatever. All the hatred toward me when you've never seen or even had a conversation in passing with me. Then you depend on a group (WWP), Weak, Whiny, People to research and report to you. You print it without research or verification. Where is your journalistic integrity? This group has been consistently and with out fail been 100% incorrect about who they 'think' I am. Furthermore, had it not been for (OC), whom I affectionately renamed "No Comment" has unsuccessfully tried to silence me. Him and his organization are part in parcel the reason I recorded the song that seems to have gotten your attention. In closing, I repeat, your story and the contents of your story make your particular blog look ridicules. No further comment.

Another thing I need to mention, I made the mistake and let my 10 year old ADHD nephew watch your *Sedate* video. He cryed and said, "I'm not a zombie." and "why is this cool rapper saying bad things about me?"

Yeah, your doing a real good job hurting a lot of innocent children who already have to cope with the stigma of ADHD.

I'm sorry your nephew had that reaction to the video. You're a good aunt! Good thing you watched it with him. Hopefully, as he gets older he will understand that I do not intend to invalidate his symptoms. Nor did I intend to "call"anyone names or infer that "all" kids feel this way. I've received many different responses to my video but never one like this. Please apologize on my behalf. People interpret things totally different. My intent is to inform parents that this is a problem and that it can be handled with out strong amphetamine based drugs.I do not bite my tongue when I say that drugging kids aged 0-3 per the new DSM is ludicrousness at it's finest. I'm not mad at him! I'm loving it. Everyone else here seems to be uptight and concerned! Me? I have a real healthy dose of "I don't give a damn"!In fact my plan is working! Why would I pay a PR firm or a label to "promote" me for a fee when I have people like you who will do it for free?! See? My math is pretty good when it comes to that! What doesn't add up (pardon the pun) is the fact that you and Village Voice are promoting me with out even meeting me, yet you criticize others who know me for doing the same thing. As to Tony, I agree with you for discounting my comment about WWP. My beef is with 1 or 2 particular people who claim to be associated with WWP. However, I do not recant what I said. I hope you read this post. I plan to be on this blog for a total of 10 minutes from the time of this post. I have other things to do online and I do not intend to multi task between social pages and studio work.Speaking to the comment about my spelling: Funny!! LOLLastly, I'm not a secretary! Therefore, expect to get 1 or 2 misspelled words! It doesn't matter long as readers comprehend my point with total understanding. You don't appear in the Copenhagen IAS video. That's all the first article said. And this article made it plain that you did make an official video for the IAS song, but that outside of Scientology it hasn't been seen.

Now, I'd like to see it, and I know my readers would like to see it. As for the material in this blog item every single item is authentic -- your photos and your videos. So complaining about WWP is pretty irrelevant.

As you can see from our comments here, a lot of us really liked the "Define Better" video -- I for one was impressed, even if I have problems with CCHR itself.

Now, I would love to talk to you, I would love to see your video, and I would love to post it here. So please, send me an email and let's get on the phone.

I concur Tony. I acknowledge that statement to have truth. My question is who cares? And why? Some people seem to think there is nothing wrong with them playing spy kids! Maybe, I was commenting on your "first:" story about this. It doesn't matter. The point is, I was shown this link because it had a lot of comments regarding me. The vitriolic comments seem to be based on ignorance. I am unmoved by them. Quite frankly, I am flattered!Give me ONE GOOD REASON why I would even consider an interview with you after spending ten minutes reading this kind of garbage?I'm not mad at your pissed off ill informed readers. I also don't give a damn about their "feelings" about me either. I'm not motivated by feelings and emotion. They can have that conversation alone. As for you, with all due respect I have no desire, interest, nor intent to speak to you about anything. It is also not my job or vocation to correct you on your errors with regard to me.Take care and be well. #OccupyTheMic

If you want me to "prove it" that my re emergence was independent I say only under the condition that you print exactly what I say and mean. You started out this conversation tonight by saying you would have been willing to share your IAS video and an interview with me. Chill EB

No! You prove it! In fact, you seem to suggest I am lying without even meeting me. I tell you like I tell anyone. "I speak for myself". If you plan to do a story I want you to do a full story. If it's "my story" then you will treat it with the dignity of my story. Quite frankly, I don't and haven't really pursued mainstream media. At the same time they haven't pursued me either. I do not wish to get into other people's beefs and hang ups. I don't need and have sent no recent press releases seeking publicity. I do not need your interview. I have an underground following in several genres that satisfy my ego as far as being famous. I gives a damn about being famous. I was already famous when I was playing ball in the mid west. I'm famous in some communities for teaching kids respect, and teaching them how to play and love the game of basketball. I've done that for many years. Send your number. You have my e-mailOh, a big PS to one of your readers: Don't go harassing innocent people in Concord. I do not even live in Concord.

I want to see the IAS official video. I want to talk further about your independence. Make the call.

Chill EB
Chill EB

Call it whatever you want guy. Furthermore, your comment ab out my handlers not allowing me to speak. Are you serious? This is another example of what I claim.Whatever you, WWP, or any of your so called "readers" are complaining about has nothing to do with me. The comments about "nobody knowing who I am" and the ignorance from your readers makes me question the level of intelligence of the pages' owner. So, call me out if you wish. I speak for myself. I am an independent artist. I have my own label. I do not need rap music. Actually, I do thank you for the promotion. I am not mad at all. I will be speaking on a "mainstream" radio show Monday night. So, understanding I do not intend to speak politics and religion should I get an opportunity to get more media. I'm not doing what I do for media attention. For your lower level thinkers who have commented I say please continue!! Just remember that just because you and your group never heard of me doesn't mean I don't exist. Contrary, until now I've never heard of you! So where does that leave us?!?!! LOL #OccupyTheMic

Why would you give VV an interview? Because before Tony posted your moronic song about the AIS, nobody has ever heard of you.

TonyOrtega
TonyOrtega

That's weak, dude. The two articles we did about you -- plus all the other news organizations that picked up our initial story -- just gave you more mainstream (i.e., non-Scientology) exposure than you've had in more than a decade.

As I said, you can tell from comments here that many of our readers were impressed by your "Define Better" video. And the ridiculing of the IAS video was more about the images of the Copenhagen people than it was about your song.

Your Scientology handlers would never approve an interview with me. But if you're really "independent," as you claim on your Facebook page, why not prove it and have a conversation with me, and show me the official IAS video that you made? You obviously put a lot of work into it. If we post it here, a lot more people are going to see it than at Scientology events.

I'm ready to hear your side of things. Send me an email and let's connect.
