Ydanis Rodriguez, NY City Councilman, Arrested by NYPD in Zuccotti Park Raid

City Council member Jumaane Williams just tweeted that his colleague on the council, Ydanis Rodriguez, was arrested this morning during the NYPD raid on Zuccotti Park.

(Back in September, it was Williams who was arrested by the NYPD at the West Indian Day Parade near the Brooklyn Museum.)

Earlier tonight, at 7:42 on Monday, Voice staff writer Graham Rayman reported that he had obtained a leaked NYPD mobilization plan for a raid on Occupy Wall Street.

At about 1 am, the raid began.

Our Rosie Gray was one of the first reporters on the scene. Her report can be seen here.

Mayor Bloomberg has announced that he's going to hold an 8 am press conference to discuss the raid.

We'll post more updates here as we get them.
