Beware of the Lower East Side Dog Feeder

Bowery Boogie

Courtesy of our friends at Bowery Boogie comes that peculiar flyer, spotted on Orchard and Grand. Some horrible cretin has been feeding dogs on the Lower East Side!

In case it's hard to read, the sign says: "Someone has been tying bones and meat to the park fence at dog height on Essex Street, just below the Hester Street/market area. Beware and if you see this please call the police/report it or at least remove it so no other dog ingests it."

While we understand not wanting your dog to eat random meat off the street, but calling the police seems a little...excessive. Besides, they're too busy making stop and frisks.
