•  Agreed. You can be totally ok with gay marriage and still believe people should be fiscally responsible and self-sufficient.

•    Is this shocking to anyone? Family members often have differing political views. For what it's worth, I don't think Obama has been all that great when it comes to the issue of gay marriage. The media tries to make gay marriage a GOP/Dem issue but it seems to me that younger people of both parties are open to gay marriage while older people tend to be against it.
