Cops say that four men recently busted into a Hamilton Heights apartment and held up nine people at gunpoint, demanding cash.

The police want to find four suspects -- described as black or hispanic males between 25 and 40 years old, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1, and weighing from 150 to 200 pounds -- who tried robbing a home at 762 Riverside Drive on Jan. 2.

The attempted robbery took place around 5:40 a.m.

According to cops, the group fled the scene when they were told that 911 had been called. One of the possible perps fired a gun. Nobody was hurt. Cops say their getaway car is a dark-colored Land Rover.
