Fake-Cop Robber Hits the Streets, Stops and Frisks Victim Just Like a Real Cop
Of course this is a thing.
Cops say that yet another punk is pretending to be a police officer -- and robbing people.
But wait, it gets better: This fake cop has apparently read up on what real badges do -- he stops and frisks his victims.
Here's what happened.
Around 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 25 -- on CHRISTMAS! -- this jerk cornered a man at 35-38 96th Street in Corona, Queens.
Cops say he "proceeded to search the victim," taking the guy's watch and wallet before fleeing.
The suspected perp, pictured here, is said to be a 5-foot-6 black male.
