You can run, but you can't hide -- just like Sandra Bullock in The Net (OMG!) : Google knows all about you (or thinks it does, at least.)

Here's how it works: Google makes guesses about your demographics from your web surfing habits. Unclear how accurate this mechanism might be across-the-board, but it's a little hit-or-miss for this Runnin' Scared reporter.
Turns out, Google thinks that this RS writer is a 25-34-year-old dude -- because she listens to hip hop and looks for stew recipes.
So, the site is a year and a set of reproductive organs off but, you know, that ain't too bad for a non-sentient search engine.
