A 22-year-old man was hit and killed by an L train heading to Brooklyn at around 8:25 a.m. this morning, the New York Post reported.

The man was standing on the tracks in between the Union Square and Third Avenue stations when the train hit him. DCPI said they do not know why he was on the tracks. Between 190 and 200 people were evacuated from the train, an MTA spokesperson told Runnin' Scared.
