If You Give Directions, You Might Get Robbed at Gunpoint -- Even in Williamsburg and Bushwick
Hey, New Yorker! Yeah, YOU! Now you finally have good reason to be that asshole -- you know, that guy or gal who doesn't want to give directions. It could be dangerous!
Cops say the four scumbags pictured here are preying on the city's good Samaritans -- they'll stop and ask you for directions and rob you while you're distracted.
The first time these luxury-loving thugs hit a victim was around 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 30, at the intersection of Himrod Street and Knickerbocker Avenue. They ripped a 16-year-old's chain off his neck and then fled.
The next instance occurred at 12:15 on Jan. 24, at the corner of Varet Street and Graham Avenue. At that time, the hooligans yanked the chain off a 72-year-old male's neck before fleeing.
On Jan. 28, the suspected perps pointed a gun at a man in front of 31 Rockaway Parkway. The next two incidents took place on Jan. 29 at 5:50 p.m. -- in front of 2814 Fulton Street -- and on Feb. 2 at 6:10 p.m. -- in front of 1142 Willoughby Avenue (also with a gun.)
Cops are on the lookout for four indivduals -- a black male in his early-to-mid 30s, a hispanic male in his early-to-mid 20s, a light-skinned black female in her early-to-mid 20s, and a dark-skinned black female.
