Oops: Giants' Website Says They Won The Super Bowl; Game Is Tomorrow

The Giants official website announced victory today when it posted an advertisement for "Super Bowl Champions" merchandise. The word "arrogant" has been thrown around on Twitter. Well, at least, now you can debate whether or not the t-shirts are ugly.

Some were taking it as a bad sign for the team:

Or maybe there's hope in the gaffe:

But, maybe a Vice Presidential endorsement, even a reluctant one, will counteract any bad vibes this mistake might have brought the team:

Though, fans should note, President Obama's not making any predictions.

According to CBS New York, the page prematurely announcing the win now displays an error message and redirects back to the Giants homepage.

In other news, one of the Giants' buses had issues today. It was minor, but we're still saying uh oh.
