Scientology Headaches: Another Felony Count for Exec; Anonymous Anniversary Saturday

The Internet grows feet: Feb. 10, 2008 on 46th St. [Photo by tacosdelaluna]
There's so much happening in the world of Scientology watching right now, we can hardly keep up with it all. Most of our attention is being taken up with the Debbie Cook lawsuit and its big hearing on Thursday -- we're going to have more on that tomorrow morning. But for now, more big developments happening around the world, and a Saturday event happening right here in New York City.

This morning, we heard from Bryan Seymour, an Australian television journalist who wanted us to know that a second felony count has been added in the criminal case against Jan Eastgate.

Janice Wendy Eastgate Meyer lives in Los Angeles and is the worldwide leader of one of Scientology's more annoying front groups, the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, which exists solely to advocate for the destruction of psychiatry.

Eastgate is Australian, and in that country last year, she was charged with Perverting the Course of Justice. It's alleged that in 1985, she coached an 11-year-old child, Carmen Rainer, to tell police that she wasn't being sexually assaulted by her stepfather, a Scientologist.

Today, Seymour tells us, a second count against Eastgate was added in the case...

Jan Eastgate allegedly coached Carmen and her mother not to reveal the situation to police or Child Services, possibly to save the Church from bad PR.

Today, Jan Eastgate was charged for the second time with Perverting the Course of Justice - it is now alleged Jan also coerced Carmen's mother Phoebe to mislead or not inform police investigating her daughter's alleged sexual assault.

For more background on this story, there's this report from Seymour on his show, Today Tonight from last year...

Seymour says that a hearing in the case has been scheduled for May 15 and 16, and that Eastgate will be required to attend.

In the meantime, she's still listed as CCHR president at CCHR's website.

Four years of Anonymity

In January 2008, a videotape was leaked to YouTube that showed Tom Cruise talking about his Scientology powers in a way that really freaked everyone out. Naturally, Scientology tried to have the short movie -- which was never intended for the public -- taken down. From that controversy sprang up Project Chanology, the get-off-our-asses moment for Anonymous, a leaderless collective of online misfits that had finally found something to do with its energy.

The next month, on February 10, 2008, the Internet grew legs and showed up at the Scientology "org" on 46th Street near Times Square, and at other orgs around the world.

Four years later, Project Chanology is still putting on monthly "raids" of Scientology orgs, and keeps an eagle eye on Scientology's controversies at WhyWeProtest.net, a website which absorbs an embarrassingly large amount of our time here in the underground bunker.

This Saturday, NYC's anons will celebrate four years of enturbulation with yet another raid at the Scientology 46th Street org, from 5 to 7 pm. If it's anything like the last few events, there will be costumes, signboards, chanting, and more profanity than you've heard in a long time. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the laughs.

You people just don't get it, you don't understand Scientology's strategy here.

Jan Eastgate is being hatted to work inside of Australian prisons recruiting 4.5 million new members annually from the inside in the never-ending tireless effort to clear the planet of crime, war, injustice, all that unhappy stuff.

Jan volunteered for this assignment years ago and had to wait this long after collaborating in the rape of children to *finally* smuggle herself inside where she can outreach the people in prisons who most need Scientology's help.

Bless that courageous woman! Bless her!@da4c4625d4976891a132b7e221f8a65d:disqus

By golly who do these Scientology criminals think they are, the Catholic church?! Ha!

Amusing how human rights includes raping children in Scientology circles, huh?

Here's a curious fact. On the CCHR website Jan Eastgate is still proudly proclaimed as the President and Freedom Medal Winner but in the 'News' section of that site there is no mention of the multiple serious charges she is facing in Australia for protecting a child molester from being brought to justice for pressuring the 11 year old victim and her mother by threats and intimidation to lie about the child's horrible ordeal.

Don't ever underestimate the Church of Scientology's malevolence and unethical behavior, it's always worse than you think.

Good news is - the planet knows about it. They might hide it from the Sea Argh suckers, but they'll figure it out.

Jan Eastgate Meyers. Who is Meyers? Someone actually married the woman? When?

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Bet there are other instances of her thwarting justice to protect the church and it's agenda.  One cannot keep going on in the same direction without justifying the past.

Andrew Robertson

As long as Janice Wendy Eastgate Meyer's successes mount in her leadership of Scientology's campaign to eradicate psychiatry by the year 2000, she will retain her cherished Kha Khan status and thus be immune from ethics handling.

And by the time her case comes to trial, the straight up and vertical Scientology expansion will have probably cleared the planet and then the Orgs will decide what's legal or not.

I understand Ms Eastgate is presently completing the Super Power Rundown and her mastery of the Oiliness Table will stand her in good stead in the unlikely event of having to face a jury.

Tony, here's an interesting bit of information for you.

I'm sure you're familiar with the book "When Prophecy Fails":

en (DOT) wikipedia (DOT) org (FORWARD SLASH) wiki (FORWARD SLASH) When_Prophecy_Fails

As you know this is a famous book by the psychologist who pioneered the theory of "cognitive dissonance" in the 50s.

What I never noticed before, was that Dorothy Martin, the cult leader, was previously involved with Hubbard's Dianetics movement.

So what do you know, Scientology played a part in the development of the theory of cognitive dissonance.

What was really great for the public education community was that in the THREE Tom Cruise viral videos that were released in 2008 (one in the US; one in NZ and one somewhere in EU, I think) was in every single one of the videos there was a segment about Tom Cruise "walking the corridors of power" with Secretary of Education Rod Paige (2001-2005) or retired Chief of Staff to Rod Paige SCN'er John Danielson talking about how he used his role to forward CCHR in public education or the narrator talking about how Scientology programs were used in NASA .... not!

They were a hoot for many reasons.

First and most of all I would really really like to thank Tony and WWP/Project Channology for your daily efforts at exposing the crimes of scientology.

Some may call you "misfits" or "merchants of chaos," I call you genius, inspiring, dedicated to the cause, fantastically lulzy people. Your vision and other sci-critics, ex-scientologist, even Indies on this blog are passionate and caring about humanity. I read it everyday on this blog and find it exhilarating and enlightening.

These times, right now, are a once in a life time experience in history. You're changing a destructive, abusive religion whether they like it or not, and many of you have been fighting the good fight on the front lines for years. There is a genuine goodness and a sense of hope for the future in so many of the individuals I encounter here.

I know for myself finding Tony and the Village Voice has been a life-changing experience for me. Many moments here are permanently imprinted in my mind and heart.

The "power of people" will always overcome the "power of greed."

Anyway, I'm proud to say, "I am an SP, a misfit, a merchant of chaos," I wear it like a badge.

For those covert scientologists crying about "proof". Let me not only remind YOU what LRH says about "proof", but also show readers your hypocrisy. From The Phoenix Lectures;"Anybody would know anything that was going on if he didn't have to prove it. Proof, conviction, is itself a very early level of aberration. As soon as you have to start proving things and convincing people of things, why then you have to get into agreement with them and in order to do this -- you have to Alter-is. You have to have something persist long enough for them to see it, so that they can then understand what it is. So in order for them to really understand what it is you can't possibly put up something that they understand what is, because if they saw completely what it was, it would disappear, so you would not have been able to have proven it. I hope you follow this very closely! Because actually what I am talking about here makes sense easily if strung together and looked at in a rational way. But if you try to Alter-is it, if you try to change it around, then you'll be able to remember it perfectly, but if you merely accept exactly what I am saying at each and every point, you know this already, so it won't exist. Now this is a very bad thing, I realize, so the best thing for me to do would be to color, if I really wanted this material to be remembered, to color the material so that it appeared to be something else than what it was. I could do that, for instance, by talking about your egg libidol, and your re-conscious. I could quote authorities who didn't exist. That's always best, you know. That's really a curve, you see. Nobody could ever see those, so they can't ever disappear. And I could quote these authorities which didn't exist but which you couldn't disprove and we could go on about the counter-reflex of the seratopol palsy and the og libidol, the bog libidol, the sog libidol and the mog libidol and how we would categorize these things as explanatory to the behavior of a feeshee preservation on the part of young alligators, and this nonsense of course would then be utterly comprehensible because it could be so remembered in every detail particularly if it were altered from what I was really talking about -- in trying to talk to you about turbo-electric systems, for example, with that amount of data injected into it". OTVIIIisGrrr8!

We in RTC are right this minute filing a five hundred billion billion billion dollar class action lawsuit against all of the religion-hating terrorist Nazi Psych puppets who attack Scientology.

OSA has identified the nineteen criminal SP's in the entire world that are responsible for the attacks on Scientology. We will handle these nineteen people along with the handful of bitter apostates that attack the Church. Once handled, all global suppression against Scientology will cease - except for Psychiatry which we in RTC are obliterating with our army of 25,000 Psychbusters.

Per COB's orders, we in RTC are spending two billion dollars from our IAS war chest to get the US Constitution rewritten in such a way that allows OSA to arrest and prosecute SP's in a Scientology court of law. Those charged, convicted, and sentenced for life -- and each of you will be found guilty -- will be sent to Ideal Orgs as religious convicts where you will perform hard manual labor.

We plan on making the Psych mastermind Ortega shine COB's shoes everyday and take out the trash here in the RTC offices. Tony thinks he is the cock of the walk now, but he will soon be wearing an orange jumpsuit in our Ideal Prison.

After Scientology conquers the world in the near future and everyone is a Scientologist, we in RTC plan to place Tony Ortega in a special museum so that Scientology school children will be able to see what an SP actually looks like.

Tony will live out his days in as a relic of a bygone era where a few psychopaths tried to destroy Mankind's only hope of salvation. He will be an object of both scorn and pity: Scorn for his crimes and pity that he never held a set of gleaming cans in his hands.

anybody heard of Juliet Simms? Apparently she's a singer who was on The Voice during one of the past two episodes and she's a second gen. Scientologist. from ESMB:"Juliet's Mom, Natalie Simms, has been one of the Church's top fundraisers for the IAS and SuperPower Building for the past twenty years.

Juliet's Dad, Jeff Simms, has earned his income by working with numerous WISE based companies since the mid 1980s.

Millions of dollars have flowed through Natalie & Jeff to the Church with them receiving huge commissions for their registration efforts.

Natalie & Jeff finance Juliet's career and have from the get go. They are intimately involved in all aspects of her career.

I believe the family has close connections to Beck, Juliette Lewis and the Ribisi family.

Natalie and Jeff's stated purpose for Juliet is for her to become a star and to use her fame to promote Scientology.

Zero.

Australia, like the US, is a jurisdiction that does not require involuntary testimony by the defendant. She is free to take the stand in her own defense, however unwise that would be. Even though juries can sometimes reach unreasonable results as the case referred to by Liliira indicates, I think, based on the evidence presented, that Ms. Eastgate will most likely be found guilty.

Why wouldn't she show up?  Oaths mean nothing to scns...the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics...wog laws mean nothing.

Joe_Lynn

I don't think she'll take the stand, not because she's afraid of lying, but because she's too afraid of where *else* questions might go.  While I don't doubt her own willingness to fall on her sword to protect Scientology, I think it's also unthinkable that she committed her original crime in a vacuum.  Obviously she was operating on orders and those orders came from 'uplines' in the 'Church'.

And, yes, she would not have to testify against herself, but, for her to be in criminal custody would be unthinkably dangerous for her 'seniors' (and former 'seniors', such as Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder, whom you will also not see testifying on any witness stands anytime soon.)

And, while lying may be a Scientology Sacrament, remember, Martha Stewart wasn't convicted for her original crime, but for lying about it.

In his affidavit Tommy Gorman in San Francisco, who worked for president of the Org Jeff Quiros as an OSA volunteer, wrote that the Rev. Quiros told him at least times, "Under oath doesn't mean shit."

The one book of Hubbard's that every journalist, lawyer, and judge needs to read is "Introduction to Scientology Ethics." It is the most pernicious thing he ever wrote.

It is all in there - the doctrine of the Suppressive Person, the superiority of Ethics to the justice systems of the world, and all Scientology's elaborate system of totalitarian control and coercion.

In scientology, we believe that psychology and psychiatry are dangerous practices that actually do more harm than good.

In scientology, we believe that decisions should be based on the greatest good for the greatest number.

Was it not for the greatest good then that Jan convinced this child and her mother not to talk to the police?  Wouldn't this child have ended up in "psych" hands had this come out, instead of in the hands of scientologists, who are the top experts on the mind and life?

In scientology, the wrong, unethical thing to do would have been to report the crime to police.  Way to go, Jan!

We in RTC have "the folks in OSA" cleaning the sanitation ponds at Gold Base after their staggering failure to handle the barrage of entheta and lies manufactured by Wog media in January.

We in RTC had to, as usual, handle OSA incompetence and failure by bypassing them. We stepped in and purchased some television commercials, this in our inimitable manner of wasting a huge amount of money on huge PR gestures that, while futile, play very well to our credulous IAS members.

As long as they feel that Scientology is winning, our IAS members keep giving us unbelievable sums of money.  It is astonishing. Whatever we in RTC are doing -- and it is a secret -- works and it works incredibly well.

We in RTC will keep on keep doing things that you wogs find malign or evil. And do you know what? We will keep getting away with it because we have a strategy that you wogs do not understand and will never understand. That is why we are RTC are you are not.

I think because Jan is still on post in CCHR, it's a touchy point for them.  Sort of Ron Bagoyovich syndrome.    Not until Mary Sue Hubbard and the Guardian's Office 10 were convicted, did he Guardian's Office come tumbling down.  So OSA's gotta protect their own, and CCHR is the spawn of the old GO, and OSA watches over CCHR today.

Mike RInder says the OSA Internet staff, Gavino and Gloria Idda, do split personality trolling on the chat sites.   And the OSA internet helpers likewise do split personality trolling.  It's efficient.

MarkStark

By "folks," I assume you mean "Louanne" and her thirty sock accounts. In all the posts by OSA, I've only been able to identify five voices.

1. Louanne (Uneducated and humorless, can't write worth shit, lots of cut and paste from the playbook.)2. Marco (May be a freelance troll. English not his native language.)3. Guy (works under various names) from Japan (Bright, but totally mind f'kd.)4. JBasoon (Brighter than Louanne but equally dull. Dull enough to be Karin Pouw.)5. VaLLarrr, a shill assigned to "handle" the Tom Cruise video. (Changes, but often was Valdis Hainley, a public Scilon from NYC, English not his native language.)

There's been a few other Scilons who chipped in from time to time, on their own, but they got put down quickly by the cult. Probably told someone what they were doing and had to go to Ethics for it.

It is not allowed for regular members of this cult to be participating in public discussion, responding to anything written by Merchants of Chaos. Truth will not get in the way of Sciloontology expansion!

Tory has said that Bill Y would take on dozens of different personalities and there's no reason to believe much has changed, only they can't expose most of the brighter public members like Tory to this level of "entheta" which means truth in the case of most journalism.

Just thought I'd clarify that for any new readers, and Tony is picking them up all the time. He's the fastest growing Scientology MoC on the planet, with 4.4 billion new readers every day, on Venus!

The victims in sexual abuse cases are always accused of being lying liars who lie, and they probably brought it on themselves anyway. It's "safe" to victim-blame people who were sexually abused, because plenty of random people will come out of the woodwork to do it anyway, Scientology-related or not.

Also, remember, Australia is the place where a woman was gang-raped and her rapists were found not guilty because she was wearing tight jeans. The rapists told her to take off her jeans or they'd kill her. The jury said she "should have called their bluff". Not that the U.S. is any better -- here, the case might not even have gone to trial, because it's pretty likely the prosecutor would have decided the state couldn't win, because the victim was wearing tight jeans.

It is entirely possible that Jan Eastgate will be found not guilty. In that case, Scientology will run around claiming they've been exonerated. And most of the rest of us will say: bullshit.

They fear being compared to the Catholic priest. Well, guess what?...

This story is safer. It's only garden-variety entheta.

They won't come here expecting to learn that Debbie Cook is being sued for her e-mail pointing out that Miscavige is violating Hubbard policy or that the CoS is denying she was even a senior staff person. They also won't expect to learn that the official counter to Debbie Cook's allegations has been thoroughly dismantled.

They also probably want to avoid learning about the secret Church of Spiritual Technology vaults that are building houses for a re-incarnated Hubbard to grow up in.

These are probably other reasons, too.

Tony...didn't you know...the entire OSA staff is serving time at 'SP Hall' for being Counter Intention and getting their asses kicked by a midget.

Do you really think it's OSA en masse? Ever think it might be little ole Jan herself? But if it is OSA, congrats on striking a nerve.
