Scientology Sunday Funnies: There's a Chill Down Under!

ChillInMelbourne.jpg
You know who!
Scientologists don't really have a Sunday service. They like to say that they do, because they crave mainstream acceptance. But unless Xenu rested after six days and L. Ron Hubbard just forgot to mention it, there's no reason for Scientologists to treat Sunday any differently than every other day of coursework, detoxes, fundraising, and generally clearing the planet.

So here at the Voice, we've come up with a Scientology Sunday tradition of our own, and we call it Sunday Funnies! Our sources regularly send us Scientology's wacky and tacky fundraising mailers, and each week we choose three of them to gaze upon, hoping that it inspires you to wax eloquent in our comments section. So here we go...

Hey, this was last night! We'd like to hear just how hip-hop-tastic it was!

ChillMelbourne.jpg

Last week Chicago, this week St. Louis -- Scientology is after you, Midwesterners!

StLArchScieno.jpg

I think this may be our first mailer that mentions Saint Hill...

SaintHillMailer.jpg

That's a nice sampling of items from Australia to the UK. Now I want to hear your thoughts on them, and on whatever else is going on. It's Sunday, let's take it easy!

There's an interview with 60 year old French concert pianist Cyprien Katsaris where he quotes L. Ron Hubbard on art and communication. Oh barf! It comes up in the daily Scientology news search and is in the online publication the Examiner. I'd appreciate it if one of you guys would comment there. It takes a Facebook account to do it.

Just tell Katsaris to read Miller's Barefaced Messiah for me or at least the wiki on Hubbard and Scientology. He has a bunch of Scientology completions mostly back in the 70's and 80's.

I've heard of his name but wasn't familiar with his playing, and wanted to hate it but hearing him on YouTube, his playing of Chopin is sublime, absolutely the kind of interpretation I love. What a shame he's a clam but thank Xenu he's not too famous and funneling classical musicians into the scam.

We in RTC need to make the deluded and psychotic readers of VV aware of the fact that 77% of Psychiatrists rape their patients. After the rapes occur, the Psychs electroshock and lobotmize their patients to cover up the evidence. This epidemic of Psychiatric Rape is never covered by the so-called Tony Ortega who rather chooses to attack the Scientology religion.

While Western nations spend billions of dollars fighting terrorist activities abroad they are neglecting the one they have at home. The Psychiatrist and his front groups operate straight out of the terrorist textbooks. Setting himself up as a terror symbol, the Psychiatrist kidnaps, tortures and murders without any slightest police interference or action by western security forces.

A single Psychiatrist can in one month:

* Murder a dozen patients with an ice pick

* Drug 2,000 children

* Rape 20-70 patients

* Give false testimony in court to free serial killers

* File false paperwork to steal $50,000,000 in taxpayer dollars by treating non-existent patients for "mental illnesses" that are made up. These phony diseases include words like "bipolar" or "ADHD" for which no blood tests exists

There is not one institutional psychiatrist alive who, by ordinary criminal law, could not be arraigned and convicted of extortion, mayhem and murder.Accordingly, if not poetically, we in RTC have acted to break the Dark Spell which has been cast across this earth by Psychiatry.By way of a recap, that campaign was expressly, maybe even diabolically, engineered to ignite both government action and media blizzard. Its also got an internal kicker; our "Mental Health Budget Adjustment Kit" which essentially works like a smart bomb in that it sniffs out psyche fuel lines and blows the funding mechanism. And in that way, to put it bluntly, we booby-trapped the whole psychiatric ecosystem.

SQUIRRELS AGAINST SQUIRRELS. (Marty Rathbun against Pierre Ethier)From Marty; "Pierre, You sound really keyed in; dubbing in quite heavily too, at least with respectto what you falsely attribute to me. SCN can handle that. Take a page from Sudden Sarge'splaybook -- that is get a good, strong handle on your case"Pierre Ethier's response: "I would gladly contribute more to this blog, if Marty would desist from his covert public statementsthat I am a babbling idiot and that Class VIII and XIIs are nothing but a cult of High Priest-Hood imbecile zombies dramatizing whole track evil purposes. Such statements are merely anindicator of Marty's own unconfronted O/Ws on auditors he has boasted to me having bothbroken and handled, when in fact all he did on them was squirell sec-checking" LOLOLOL I counted more than 5 different squirrel groups that are pretending to have the right LRH tech.I wonder which one of those Debbie Cook is going to join in. Or maybe she is starting a new onefor herself? LOL

Seayaorg

in anzo they are in a house near glebe and come in on short shcedules. debbie's cook's mother in law is in regal palms. if someone is a reg there unproductive mum - like pat bloomberg who was amazing in her day - may be looked after gratis while dying of lung cancer. and kiwis and ozzies get socila welfare so uit goes into the pool. bad cases are not welcome inside the org as the PR is bad and so staff might meet them somewhere else or go and visit for a while - they don't stay at dundas, after all an OT5 with body problems is not aligned with dianetics and scientology some have to find a rellie somewhere - we know when inside ' you are only as valuable as you can contribut' and you must contribute to an org or you are not valuable so a reg is valuable and her oldies may be looked after. some end up okay - they have kept outside income going like kerry crutchfield at the AO - she can even go out and spend several hundred on hair extensions. debbie cook was a reg and was paid thousands. and maybe salted it - she may own a house, some inherit money and take off. or give it over and secure being looked after - like vickey dickey. some look at it when they are in there thirties and say - yeeks, time to get a life, they cNCELLed individual reg bonuses and book commission a while ago and made everyone a reg/callin/book seller/ membership seller etc, so you have to do your own job, try to get libs/study/ annual leave (ha ha) do your selling bits and maybe talk to your hubby and kids if you can

Seayaorg
Seayaorg

talking about debbie cook. only marty corroborates her story publicly. on her websites and his she has short hair and is a real poster girl. to the press she 'appeared or mocked up' sad victim. this all may be true but her hair was LONG - so it is possibly both PR. displaying sadness elicits sympathy. she has had this illness DEVELOP while working her butt off in the SO disseming scio - we are led to beleive someone like her will be a super being. she is not. debbie needs to look earlier and see that her story is fairly typical of many but the publ;icity has been attracted to hers.. she got paid thousands, she got given a list of scios to make rich with the tech - if they ditched her so quickly, was she GOOD? in my case i routed out found help in a homeless shelter and got a big bill. when i paid it to save my soul and help out the VMs i then got told i was a volunteer - then when i complained about the bill as a volunteer i got told some people get paid to leave, some get no bill so long as they behave and some get a bill. that makes me what? worth negative to them? so then i get told we loved your contribution as it helped LRH - now get into your org, do ethics, one free session then and advanced program and the rest of the bridge - so more money. why would i want more of the stuff when it has no heasalth benefit to blow engrams and the rules and regs turn you bad whatever you do. GOD GUYS - better to go look at lillies for pleasure. and talk about debbie - if the co$ wins they get all those donos, maybe they can win. they will have plenty of evidence that she was willing and happy and Wayne's mother in regal palms.

New topic - I've often wondered what happens to lifetime Sea Org members (or other lifetime staff) when they become elderly and cannot work anymore.  I haven't been able to find too much information, but there were some posts on the Ask The Scientologist blog -- http://  askthescientologist.  blogspot.  com/ -- (which is a really great website to lose a whole afternoon on).

Some commenters said that elderly Sea Org members are "offloaded" when they can no longer work or become too old and ill, and are basically turned out into the streets -- there's no SO retirement home or care of any kind.  So without other family assistance, many elderly SOs become homeless or worse?  Imagine if you've been in the SO for 40+ years, and have no money and no IRA or social security.  I think, in addition to the human trafficking and child abuse, this could be a next great expose.

Can any old timers here shine any light on this?

A bad start to 2012 for cults with the VV and SP Times on the Scilon's case and now the Albany Times Union's 4 part series on that little shit Keith Raniere and NXIUM, his abusive, MLM, Scilon ripoff up in Colonie, NY.

http://www.timesunion.com/news...

It's quite a read. The whole deal was brought to my attention by Rick Ross' Cult News Network which aggregates stories on cults worldwide. There were frequent posts about NXIUM by a brave, lone blogger named John Tighe up in Saratoga. Aside from Ross' well publicized legal tussles with Raniere, there was precious little about NXIUM save for a wonderful expose in Forbes a few years back. But oddly, that all went nowhere and the cult shut down criticism with lawsuits (sound familiar?).

I started reading John's posts and was hooked by the tales that sounded like Scilon fair gaming tactics back in the 70s and 80s only with a lot more sex and betrayal. At times I wondered if Tighe was just some kind of kook who was obsessed with this little organization, but as time passed, more and more of what he posted started to show up in the Times Union and his followers that were ex NXIUM followers told stories that lined up with any number of stories from ex Scientologists to ex Moonies.

Now we have this 4 part series that pretty much corroborate everything John has been saying for the past few years. So keep up the excellent work Tony, the Scilons have a billion dollars in the bank, so letting off the pressure is not an option. Let's make every year a bad year for abusive cults.

Schockenawd

For the love of god, will SOMEONE please get copies of those "videos of miracles with the tech in action" from Arrighi's presentation so Tony can post them?  We NEED to see them.  I'm sure the Church of Scientology won't want to hide them; why wouldn't they want to share with the whole world such video evidence that the tech works?

Breaking news:More than 6000 people  between Scientologists, religious leaders, community officials, representatives of nongovernment organizations and scholars  from throughout Europe to celebrate the second anniversary of the dedication and opening of Churches of Scientology for Europe in Brussels, Belgium. This unique Scientology Church caters to the spiritual needs of Scientologists throughoutBelgium and makes its humanitarian campaigns available to representatives of the 27 member states of the European Union and embassy and consulate staff from 200 nations. The anniversary celebration was held at the Church's headquarters at Boulevard de Waterloo, which was fully restored to its early 20th century elegance for its January 23, 2010, grand opening in the heart of Brussels.

I've often wondered this myself. I agree with you. If they're too old or get sick, they're just offloaded with a $500 severance check and wind up going on social security disability to just live. This is the Scientology Code of Honor at work here. So long as you're an able contributing member in good standing, you're OK. As soon as you are no longer able to contribute to that third dynamic(The most important in Scientology), you're dumped like a bad habit. It's just inhumanely disgusting. It's also Standard Tech and pure Hubbard.

For real.  You'd think that Videos of Miracles would be prominently featured in their TV ads or on their website, but sadly no.  Maybe if our tiny wog brains tried to process the images, we would get sick and/or die, similar to any pre-OT3 learning the WTF Xenu tale.

The people who "know too much" or otherwise pose a potential threat to Miscavige -such as the recently deceased Annie Broeker Tidman- will never be let out easily.  In all likelihood, Heber Jentzsch will remain in The Hole until the day he dies -- which considering his age and the inhuman living conditions there, probably isn't more than a few short years away.

DeckardCain

It's a cult and it was designed for the benefit of only one person which was LRH and now is Miscavige.  Those that think otherwise are fooling themselves and likely fooling others.

Also, the name of marcotai pumps my nads is rather snippy, no?

Sid

Actually, I don't think he did.

The fact that he comes back and replies to people tells you he is not a clam. Real clams are not allowed to enter into dialogue. All they can do is post something to try and de-rail the thread or deny the allegation with some irrelevant nonsense, or slime the victim.

Marco on the other hand is a troll so he wants you to bite. He wants to get into a dialogue. He wants to wind you up even further, he needs to feel that he's getting to you. The only way he can get that feedback is if you respond to him.

I'm all for engaging in discussion with Scientologists, but not trolls. Even pretending to be his gay partner is enough feedback for Marco.
