College Sells Plan B, Condoms, and Pregnancy Tests Via Vending Machine

Talk about campus amenities: Shippensburg University now boasts a VENDING MACHINE that sells Plan B, pregnancy tests, and condoms.

The (BEST) vending machine (EVER), located in the central Pennsylvania college's student health center, charges 25 bucks for the morning after pill -- less expensive than area pharmacies (and far cheaper than raising a child!), according to The Associated Press (via Today.com.)

The school doesn't subsidize the items, but the machine was installed at the request of student government.

Though Plan B isn't available without a prescription to patients under age 17, Shippensburg looked through student records and confirmed that all attendees were 18 and older.

If only these were installed across the U.S.

Besides being overwhelming, pregnancy can be an exciting time of life for most women. Luckily there a number of books that are available which can help you understand what is happening to your body, mind, and spirit during this period in your life.

You can now end your pregnancy via a vending machine! The choice is no longer between you and your doctor or pharmacist, just pop 25 bucks in and go bleed out that baby you didn't want :) its cheaper than an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy. YAHOO. The daddy doesn't even have to know, well and after last night... its really hard telling who the daddy was anyway! LOL hahahhaah! Feminism rules! YAY!

'Reckless' is not providing these machines in more locations....I suppose you think the world could use more unplanned babies?

This seems to be an error on the Voice's part. The source AP article says that all students are 17 or older, with 17 being the relevant age for getting Plan B w/o a prescription.

Ok again, people, Plan B ≠ morning after pill. Get a brain before you run your mouth.
