New Jersey Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil On Critics: "They're Jealous, They're Fat And They're Ugly"

Patricia Krentcil, the New Jersey woman who allegedly stuffed her 5-year-old daughter into a tanning bed -- causing the girl's skin to burn -- has an explanation as to why everyone is so worked up about the incident: her critics are just "jealous, they're fat and they're ugly."

We knew she had a (ahem) good explanation.

Krentcil offered her explanation to a TMZ cameraman as she was headed to a hair salon in Nutley yesterday afternoon.

Additionally, despite the allegations against her, Krentcil insists she didn't actually put her daughter in a tanning bed and that she's a great mom.

"I'm innocent and it's proven... I would never -- never -- put my daughter in a tanning booth. We go out shopping. That's what we do," she said. "Any mother that makes an accusation about me is not a mother, because I'm a great mother and I would never do that to my child."

For the record, my mother thinks Krentcil's a bad mom if she put her kid in a tanning bed, and I can confirm that my mother is in fact a mother.

Krentcil was arrested last week after authorities got word that she took the 5-year-old tanning. Krentcil says she's been using tanning beds for more than 10 years. Based on her glowing appearance, we'll take her word for it.

Krentcil admits that she did bring the girl to a tanning salon, but swears her daughter was never exposed to dangerous UV rays. She says the girl's burns happened when she was playing outside.

Krentcil says she considers her tanning regimen to be an errand, and she simply brought her daughter along like she would when she runs any errand. As we mentioned, she claims the girl was never exposed to the bright lights of a tanning booth.

"It's like taking your daughter to go food shopping," she said earlier this week. "There's tons of moms that bring their children in."

The misunderstanding, she claims, happened after the 5-year-old told people at school that her mother had taken her tanning. The theory is a teacher overheard the girl talking about going tanning with her mother and called police.

Because it's illegal for anyone under the age of 14 to use tanning beds -- and it's illegal for their parents to take them tanning -- Krentcil's been hit with one count of second-degree child endangerment. She's since pleaded not guilty.

"Any mother that makes an accusation about me is not a mother, because I'm a great mother and I would never do that to my child."An exquisite train of logic made out of Play-Doh, powered by horseshit.

Well, if I was ever on the fence about tanning, I've definitely fallen off after seeing this. I'll stick to the sunscreen.  This woman is only supposed to be in her 40's? She looks tanned alright: as in a piece of leather. Nasty.....

To Patricia Krentcil: "A great mother" -- are you kidding me?  Have all those rays fried you all the way to the bone and brain, you leather-faced, moronic IDIOT??  Pay attention to this:  Redheads. Have. No. Melanin.  Got it?  Redheads. Can't. Tan. EVER!  Just like albinos.  Did you never know that?  Google Johnny Winter or the wrestler Sheamus.

You, my dear, are the poster child for requiring a test for the most basic common sense and intelligence before being allowed to breed.  Never mind who would even touch you -- your brazen, unfettered, wanton, unbridled, reckless, uncanny, blatant, unrivaled STUPIDITY should DISQUALIFY you from breeding!  Because any kids you produce, even if they don't inherit what are clearly your STUPID genes, will most likely end up supported by tax-payers, whether in a psych ward, a hospital, a foster home, as a ward of the state (e.g. a prisoner), or whatever.

As it is now, it's too late to sterilize you -- I wish the rays had done that!  But since you STILL "think" (I use the term loosely!) tanning a child is OK, your red-headed child should be taken away, and your TUBES TIED!!
