John McCain Understands Nothing Says 'I'm in the Muslim Brotherhood!' Like Marrying a Jew

If you are one of those Democrats or Republicans who, regardless of party, actually liked John McCain once upon a time, and who found that -- until he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate -- he was the kind of fellow inclined to put country before party on important matters, take note.

That John McCain came back yesterday.

McCain came to the aid of Huma Abedin, a New Yorker and long-time aide to Senator and then Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Michelle Bachmann has been investigating if there has been an infiltration of the United States government because people like Abedin, Bachmann asserts incredulously, are really moles for the Muslim Brotherhood and are trying to influence policy in their favor.

In one sense, this is laughable. Nothing says, "I'm in the Muslim Brotherhood and I'm a radical Islamist hell bent on destroying the United States!" quite like marrying a Jew. And Abedin is married to a rather well known Jewish politician who, though perhaps better known for a slight implosion he had last year, is also quite the hawk for Israel.

In another sense, this is no laughing matter. Bachmann may be a clown, but she is one with access to the levers of power in the United States government, and she's using them to engage in a McCarthy-like witch-hunt against Muslim Americans. Democratic Representative Keith Ellison, Bachmann's colleague from Minnesota and the sole Muslim member of Congress, debunked her and her tactics strongly. But something this serious really needed an elder statesman from Bachmann's own party to shut this shit down.

Enter John McCain.

McCain addressed the floor of the Senate in the above video, and said in his speech, "These sinister accusations rest solely on a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma's family, none of which have been shown to harm or threaten the United States in any way. These attacks have no logic, no basis, and no merit and they need to stop. They need to stop now."

This time, the Mac really is back.

Reich-Wing Fascist witch hunts conducted by braindead nincompoops like Bachmann are a greater threat to the US than the Muslim Brotherhood could ever hope to be.

On the other hand, I don't trust the Israelis either.  All those semitic people are nuts over there.  Seriously nuts.  Their religion worships a raving lunatic who tried to kill his own son because voices in his head said to (and then said not to).  Someone like this today would be put in a mental hospital.  But to Jews and Muslims (and Christians, for that matter), this is the ultimate sign of faith in "God." So I don't trust the Israelis either.  At least half of them are just Jewish "Arabs" anyway!  The other half are only vaguely European.  They're all decidedly Third World over there.

Liberal Village Voicers are so silly.  Just 'cause she has sex and gets preggers by a Zionist Jew doesn't mean anything at all.  Most blacks in America are the product of black women who had sex and got preggers by racist whiteboys -- and I don't mean just slavery or even Jim Crow, either!  And ain't James Carville still married to Mary Matalin?? "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." It's interesting to consider Steve Thrasher's point, all the same...the Muslim Brotherhood is gonna get sanitized by the left the way Zionist fascists from Irgun, Betar, and company got sanitized by the right.

Indeed -- gives a new twist to the notion of a "sleeper agent!"  In fact, from previous evidence Muslim terrorists will go so far as to deliberately cultivate a secular lifestyle -- debauched, even -- just to evade suspicion.  That's all well documented, especially in the case of those 9/11 jihadis.
