Long Island Dope Gets Trapped In Donation Bin While Trying To Steal Clothes From Poor People

This is 24-year-old Edgard Dubon. He had to call the cops on himself last week when he trapped himself inside the used clothing bin he was trying to steal from.
Where to begin...

You know those dumpster-esque bins where do-gooders can drop off their old clothes for poor people? Well, not only did a guy try to steal a bunch of old clothes from one of these bins, but he trapped himself inside in the process.

The kicker: he then had to call the cops...on himself.

The dope in question is 24-year-old Edgard Dubon, who hails from Long Island. On Wednesday August 8, at about 3:30 in the morning, Dubon climbed into a clothing donation bin near Darien, Connecticut, allegedly with the intention of stealing the old clothes inside.

As we mentioned, he got stuck.

Dubon then used his cell phone to call the company that owns the bin. But it was 3:30 in the morning and nobody picked up.

Apparently too embarrassed to call a friend to help him flee his bungled attempt to steal old clothes, Dubon called 9-1-1.

Police and fire crews showed up and had to use bolt cutters to remove Dubon from inside the bin.

In any event, he is now free -- from the bin, that is; he now faces potential jail time after getting charged with trespassing, larceny and criminal mischief.
