The NYPD is asking for citizens help to identify and locate three men wanted for burglary after breaking into an apartment on December 18.
The crime took place in the morning, around 8:30 a.m., at 1180 Lebanon Street in the Bronx neighborhood of Tremont Park. Three hooded Hispanic males were captured on security cameras entering and leaving the apartment building. Authorities have judged them to all be around 5 and a half feet tall and weighing anywhere between 150 and 170 pounds. Their faces, however, were slightly shrouded by the hoods and ball caps they wore, so cops didn't feel confident guessing at an age.
When the trio left, two were seen carrying items out of the building. One of the burglars, in a striped gray and white hoodie, was taped lugging out a large flat screen television.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or received an unexpected, unboxed, slightly-used flat screen on Christmas should call the anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline, 1 (800) 577-TIPS, or visit the Crime Stoppers website
