The NYPD is asking for help to find a man suspected of attempting to lure two teenage girls last Friday, January 25, in the Queens neighborhood of Corona.

The first incident happened in the morning, around 7 a.m. Police say a 13-year-old Hispanic girl was walking on Northern Boulevard near 102 Street when a black Cadillac Escalade pulled up beside her. An Hispanic male in his early 30s, between 5'7 and 5'9, and around 170 pounds, tried to spark up a conversation with the girl. Realizing she didn't know the man, she walked away from the vehicle. That's when the suspect exited the car, chased the girl down, and grabbed her by the arm. The victim, however, was able to pull free and escape.

Around 8 p.m Friday night, the suspect tried again. A girl was walking along Northern Boulevard, this time at Parsons Street when she claims a black Escalade pulled up beside her.

The driver motioned the 14-year-old to come to the vehicle, but she refused and kept walking. The suspect in the Cadillac, however, followed closely behind her until, finally, she ran away.

Anyone who recognizes the would-be lurer should call the NYPD's anonymous Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or to visit the Crime Stoppers Website. Video NYPD provided from the first incident below, courtesy of DNAInfo.
