Bed Bugs at Fox News

Posted by Michael Clancy at 1:46 PM, March 18, 2008

Last week, the New York Times was the first to get to Eliot Spitzer's Kristen, now they are reporting about a serious bedbug infestation at the Fox News newsroom in Midtown. An exterminator told a Fox employee who told the Times it's “the worst infestation he had seen in 25 years in the business.”

Fox says the problem has been eradicated but only after exterminators visited the homes of 20 Fox employees and determined that one person was the carrier. Gawker is reporting that the offending employee has been fired.

Score two for the New York Times. How will the Post respond? And just wait until Rupert Murdoch pits the Wall Street Journal head-to-head versus the New York Times in New York City news, then things should get really interesting.

I always suspected Fox was lousy--now we have proof.

How can the person be fired? They may have picked up the bug from a movie theater, a doctor's office, sitting in a cab or on a bus...there are a number of ways that the peron could unknowingly became infested.

The crabs are really Bill O’Reilly’s as he is well known for cruising the streets of burnt out industrial backwaters and arguing with infested hookers over the price of contract sex and, his staff reports. he likes pulling the bugs out of his pubic hair and eating them, especially while women are looking at him because he thinks it will turn them on and entice them to falafel with him.
