Guess Who's Back: The Return of "Kristen" and the Spitzer Scandal

By Heather Muse, Thursday, May. 15 2008 @ 11:40AM

Categories: Spitzer Sex Scandal

The Post brings us way back to March with their photo exclusive of the infamous Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the woman who brought down Gov. Eliot Spitzer. It's the first new picture of The Hooker Formerly Known As "Kristen" and coincides with the news that "hooker booker" Temeka Lewis cut a plea deal that may reveal all about the Emperors Club VIP clients. Lewis's testimony could lead to money-laundering charges for Spitzer.

But let's talk about Kristen/Ashley. The photos in the Post show her decked out in black, with a Fendi belt (worth $632) and a Louis Vuitton wallet ($495). Didn't the Post learn that it's tacky to talk prices? Oh wait, we're talking about a high-priced call girl in the throng of a government sex scandal. OK, carry on…

The description of how Post photogs found Dupre is pretty hilarious, with its creative use of adjectives to describe her journey from her family home in Wall, N.J., to midtown (bolding mine):

"Having ditched her pricey Flatiron apartment and apparently now living with her mom and stepdad in their Victorian home in Wall, NJ, Dupre drove a subcompact car to the nearby neighborhood of Lincroft. There, she hopped a decidedly inglorious 9 a.m. bus for an hour-long ride to Manhattan's seedy Port Authority Bus Terminal."

How the mighty have fallen! The new news in the case also give the paper the opportunity to trot out two of the covers from the days of the scandal: the "HO NO!" front page with Eliot and Silda Spitzer and the controversial "BAD GIRL" topless shot of Dupre.

Today's front page of the Post makes you think nothing's really happened in the last two months. It also makes you forget that this scandal is old news and we've moved on to Vito Fossella and his "second family.

jink says:

isn't it quite possible that this entire bus ride was staged for the photo op purpose? a post photog and reporter were just hanging out at a "seedy" midtown bus station waiting for a fendi belt clad former hooker?

Tony Soprano says:

Umba-friggin-leavable. The prostitution ring is just one a 'da business operations of a certain organized crime family. They had the dirt on Spitzer, this crime family owned Eliot Spitzer. Of course, Spitzer protected his associates on account 'a he had too, if you know what I mean. 'Dis crime family with all sorts of businesses could have taken Spitzer down any time they wanted. Spitzer protected all the business interests of at least one crime ring, that we know of. I wish I could of owned a freakin' Attorney General. We Sopranos would have made hundreds of millions or even billions like the Biglaw organized crime, instead of the mere millions. That's OK, I know life is not fair. Like how this extended Spitzer crime family controls the media, making this story like it was just about sex instead of being about an Attorney General being owned by the mob. If all goes well for the criminals, there won't be a Federal Special Prosecutor appointed to unraveling the web of conflicts and crime between Eliot Spitzer and Organized Crime.

White MakesRight says:

The law is the law. But on a deeper level, if you are black you will be convicted and do time, especially if you are rich or famous. If you are white, you will not even be prosecuted especially if you are super rich like Eliot Spitzer. The inventor of Rock-n-Roll, Chuck Berry, went to prison for violating the Mann Act. Famous black boxing champ Jack Johnson went to prison for violating the Mann Act. Johnson didn't pay for a prostitute to cross a state line, he just dated unmarried white women. Point is, rich white Spitzer is liable for 20 years just for the Mann Act violations, not including the money laundering, campaign finance crimes, protecting organized crime, or using government resources when doing his organized crime business - even if only as a client. 20 years. Spitzer needs to thank his momma for getting pregnant from a white bastard, and that the corrupt government prosecution machine of which he has been a part for decades targets only people of color as they protect white males. White makes Right. Blacks get prison. Ask Little Kim who was put in jail for not knowing who followed her. Ask Barry Bonds who is indicted for being better than Babe Ruth. Ask Jack Johnson for being the best. Ask Chuck Berry. Ask the tens of thousands of black and latino youth that Spitzer incarcerated for non violent minor drug possession of Marijuana - the stuff the white president Bill Clinton smoked - but did not inhale. Who can explain the double standard which puts young blacks in prison for pot, yet elects the fat white boy who smoked it as President? We are sooo used to it that we simply fail to notice anymore. It is always OK for whites to break the law because corrupt whites hold the magical and profitable trick called "prosecutorial discretion". Which is just another way of saying: "prosecute according to the color of their skin". Now with Iraq and the hatchet job of Barack Obama by the white media, it's only a matter of time before the black youth today rise up against Law Enforcement corruption and eliminate them, once and for all. Jefferson, Adams, Washington, and Hamilton would proudly salute such soldiers as the most noble of warriors against the corruption of the Crown, the elite succession of a crime family which has harnessed our Justice System for their own racist and profit purposes.

DeathThreatVictim says:

Why is the media failing to draw the connection between the bankruptcy lawyer - Lou Posner - running the prostitution and money laundering ring with Eliot Spitzer? Notice Spitzer was taken out, and all of a sudden the high priced whore house is no longer protected. Only a Federal Special Prosecutor stands a chance at unraveling the organized crime corruption of public officials. http://jaactv.com/330/site/content/view/77/102/
