The Lower East Side Slacktivists lift a finger against the gentrification in their neighborhood — particularly against landlord Alistair Economakis as he tries to evict rent-stabilized tenants. LES rabble-rouser John Penley organized the rally as a continuation of their run-up to the 20th anniversary of the Tompkins Square Park riots.
