In 1956 the World Series between the Yankees and the Dodgers was played October 3-10. Today is October 27, it's 10:45, and Game 5 of the World Series is suspended in its sixth inning in Philadelphia where it is 44 degrees and raining. Runnin' Scared recommends all pre-WS playoff series be replaced by eight-ball tournaments played by champions chosen by the team managers.

At this rate, the World Series will be played when the Super Bowl used to be held, and the Super Bowl will be played when the World Series used to be held.
