Suspect in Custody in Rockaway Rapes

​Matthew Johnson had experienced some trouble with the law in the past and the police have his DNA information on file. This week the cops matched that to DNA taken in a couple of rapes committed last week in Rockaway, which had unnerved neighbors and more patrolmen in the district. On this evidence they've taken Johnson in. No word yet as to charges.

Update: Police identify the suspect as "Malcolm Johnson," say he's 23 and lives on Beach 59th Street, right near where the rapes took place.
