Just in time for Christmas, The Council on Islamic American Relations (CAIR) has launched an
"I am Muslim, I am American" ad campaign. The slideshow-like presentation, with portraits of Muslim Americans doing American-American things like holding a baseball bat and being a cop, started airing yesterday on the CBS Super Screen in Times Square. CAIR describes it as "part of our ongoing effort to ensure that a
fair and accurate portrayal of Islam and Muslims is presented to the American public." Some people aren't going for it: "'I AM MUSLIM, I AM AMERICAN'
NOTICE WHICH COMES FIRST," cries
Atlas Shrugs, and brings up Fort Hood. Sigh. CAIR should start running these on TV, during episodes of
24.
