It's the 11th hour of Time Warner's fight with Rupert Murdoch's Fox, and now Senator John Kerry is stepping in to try to keep the mighty cable channel from being pulled off the air by the mighty cable operator.
John Kerry? The ineffectual senator who was an ineffectual presidential candidate? He's called on the FCC to order that Time Warner not pull the plug on Fox. This is the kind of decisive step that Kerry never took during the 2004 campaign.
Murdoch's own New York Post gives the dispute fair and balanced coverage this morning. No, really.
