Queens teacher gets the rubber room for punching Jersey Shore's Snooki
Local Jersey Shore embarrassment, formerly the property of Staten Island and New Jersey, claimed another borough this week when Queens gym teacher Brad Ferro was identified as the man who punched cast-member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi on camera when she accused him of stealing her drink. 
Ferro copped to simple assault and was sentenced to a $500 fine and anger management classes. The city says they didn't know about the conviction because it took place out of state. He's been pulled from the classroom and assigned to one of the rubber rooms where NYC warehouses problem teachers while school authorities investigate.
His father told the News that Polizzi "instigated" his son, who was warned by bouncers before the assault that he needed to stop drinking. He also blames MTV.
Marlboro, NY native Polizzi, whose participation in the show Time describes as "a fairy tale," went on Wendy Williams Friday to explain that "guidos and guidettes" are simply "good-looking people that, you know, like to make a scene and be center of attention."
MTV, which initially planned to sanitize the incident by showing an anti-violence PSA, will not be broadcasting footage of the assault, which quickly went viral on the internets when it was released as a promo clip.
