Vanished: Cassy Orna and Troy Edwards
The bodies of two people found stuffed in the trunk of parked car in Brooklyn on Wednesday evening are probably those of a Jersey couple who have been missing for two weeks.

Evande (Cassy) Orna, 39, and her boyfriend Troy Edwards, 40, had left Plainfield to pick up a relative in Richmond, Virginia. No word from them since. Cops in Virginia say the pair may have made it to a Richmond apartment Edwards frequented. Red-stained sheets and other creepy evidence of a possible crime were found there more than a week ago.

But how the car was spotted in Brooklyn is very strange.

Vincent "No Good" Young
Don't count out the Mafia. Tom Robbins gives a sobering appraisal of why the Italian-American gangsters are more than just pop-culture figures.

But they're also pretty potent pop-culture pricks. Gangs of other colors and races are also dangerous, but Joe Coscarelli's list of Mafia nicknames from the recent big bust shows that when it comes to nicknames, Italian gangsters still have an edge over black gangsters.

There are exceptions. Just yesterday, feds in New Jersey indicted a bunch of Bloods for racketeering and other felonies. Topping the list is Vincent "No Good" Young. He's so bad that even one of his other nicknames, "Good," is simply a shortened version of "No Good." More >>

Moscow Cops Find Suicide Bomber's Head in Airport Rubble

Cops in Moscow think they've found the head of the suicide bomber who blew up the city's busiest airport today, killing 35 people and wounding at least 168 others. As a Russia Today talking head puts it, it's "the head of a man wth an Arabic appearance." The mid-afternoon (Moscow time) attack "sprayed shrapnel, screws and ball bearings at passengers and workers," says the AP. Oh, boy, can't wait for the 2018 World Cup in Moscow.

Shortly after midnight Saturday, a passing boater in the Hudson River discovered a body floating off 43rd Street and 12th Avenue. The NYPD Harbor Unit landed the floater on Pier 81; he was, of course, DOA at the scene. No ID at press time. He was described as a bearded white male, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a brown sweatshirt and light pants.

Tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips at nypdcrimestoppers.com or text info to 274637 (CRIMES), entering TIP577.
