Three lowlifes turned a verbal altercation into a shootout in the Bronx this weekend, and cops want your help getting them off the street.

Around 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, the suspected perps got into an argument with the 28-year-old victim, police say. One of the accused crims took out a gun and fired, hitting the man and two bystanders. The three thugs then fled south in Fordham Manor, into 2570 Briggs Avenue.

Last week, cops chased Ramarley Graham, 18, to the bathroom of his apartment where they shot and killed him. His grandmother was at home at the time and witnessed the shooting.

The Bronx teen -- who may have been trying to flush marijuana down the toilet -- was unarmed.

Today, the NYPD and Mayor Michael Bloomberg are getting backlash from some pols who are calling on the higher-ups to address larger concerns of policing culture and police accountability.

Last night, police officer Kevin Brennan was shot in the head in the Bushwick Houses in Brooklyn after he and his partners responded to a report of shots fired. Doctors at Bellevue Hospital successfully removed the bullet from the base of Brennan's skull, and as of last night, he was reported to be in critical but stable condition.

Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly held a late night press conference at the hospital to provide an update on the incident (There was no mention of the controversy surrounding the commissioner's son at the news conference).

Brennan is 29-years-old and has been a member of the NYPD since 2005. Six weeks ago, he and his wife Janet had a baby girl named Maeve.

Cops want to find the two thugs who shot a Bronx resident in the back Wednesday -- after he refused to hand over his iPhone.

Police say that the 23-year-old victim was walking with a friend along West 190th street, between Aqueduct and Grand Avenues, around 6:30 p.m. when the perps accosted them, demanding the costly gadget.

On New Year's Day in 2011, Miguel Padilla shot a semiautomatic pistol several times at a Chevy Impala following a dispute over a parking space. The shots did not strike the victim, but instead hit a 13-year-old boy who was a passenger in a nearby minivan. The gunshots shattered the rear window of the minivan and grazed the boy's head.

The boy has since made a full recovery, and today, the Manhattan District Attorney's office announced that Padilla, more than one year later, is being sentenced to 17 years in state prison.

Padilla, 45, was charged with firing a weapon multiple times in East Harlem with the intent to kill. On Jan. 11 this year, he pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the second degree, attempted assault in the first degree, and assault in the second degree.

Cops want to find the hoodlum who shot at a Honda Civic on Wednesday.

Police say that around 2:45 p.m., a male in his late teens or early 20s brandished the firearm in front of 2132 Second Avenue -- in El Barrio -- and fired, hitting the windshield and passenger door. Three men were inside the vehicle.

Cops are on the lookout for a man wearing a Scarface jacket (no, really), and say that he and another man recently robbed a Bronx newsstand at gunpoint.

Around 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 6, the two suspected perps entered the shop at 1936 Crotona Avenue, and pulled out black handguns. The suspects, pictured here, took cash from the register and scratch-off lotto tickets, law enforcement officials say. They fled on foot.

A man was robbed at gunpoint for his orange Marmot jacket in the Bronx recently, cops say.

The sartorially minded scumbag (pictured here) approached a man on the corner of Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard on Dec. 14, pulled out a gun, took the victim's coat and nothing else, and then fled the scene, cops report in a just-released statement.
