The man responsible for burning a 73-year-old woman alive in the elevator of her Brooklyn apartment building will serve 50 years in prison after pleading guilty yesterday to first-degree murder and second-degree arson charges.

Back in December, Jerome Isaac, 48, cornered 73-year-old Delores Gillespie in the elevator of her Underhill Avenue apartment in Prospect Heights, soaked her face and body in gasoline and lit her on fire with a barbecue flame igniter as she struggled to fight him off, according to a release from the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office.

The Central Park masturbator accused of raping a 73-year-old woman last month has been formally indicted -- and he's looking at a whole slew of charges that potentially could land him in prison for the next several decades.

Of the 12 charges against 42-year-old masturbator David Mitchell, seven are felonies, including rape, sexual motivated robbery, and sexual abuse.

For the alleged public masturbating, Mitchell was charged with public sexual indecency -- a misdemeanor.

According to the indictment, the 73-year-old victim -- who following the rape told the New York Post that she wanted to "Kill [Mitchell]. Cut off his penis. That's fine. Cut off his feet, then hit him over the head. Then give him life in prison" -- caught Mitchell masturbating in the park while she was out photographing birds a few weeks prior to the alleged rape.

She snapped a few photos of Mitchell's public mono-fornication.

Meet Daniel Miller: a prime candidate for the "Shittiest Person On Earth Award."

The shitty-ness of alleged kid-raping religious store owner Daniel Miller apparently knows no bounds. -- aside from allegedly drugging and sexually abusing his 17-year-old victim, Miller is now accused of plotting to have the boy killed.

Oh, and let's not forget the voodoo doll he had created of the boy in an attempt to give him cancer.

We told you about Miller, 45, earlier this year -- he owns a religious goods store in Long Island called Botanica where the alleged victim worked. According to authorities, on the boy's first day working at the store, Miller dosed him with booze and Lorazepam, drove him to his house, and sexually assaulted him for up to 12 hours.

Now, authorities say Miller offered someone $15,000 to kill the boy so he wouldn't be able to testify against him at his upcoming trial.

According to the Nassau County District Attorney's Office, a confidential source contacted authorities in June to tell them Miller had offered him cash to kill the boy. 

The source told authorities relatives of Miller's contacted him and told him to visit Miller in jail, where he's awaiting trial for the alleged sexual abuse.

Rather than letting convicted murderer/rapist end it all for the cost of an oyster, taxpayers will foot the bill to keep him on death row.

Somebody needs to get "universally despised" Connecticut murderer Steven Hayes some oysters stat!

Turns out, Hayes -- who currently is rotting away on death row after getting convicted in the despicable murders of a Connecticut woman and her two daughters -- is deathly allergic to the slimy molluscs, and at one point hatched a bizarre plan to commit suicide by slurping down a few oysters.

Hayes, as you may recall, is one of two men responsible for the brutal home-invasion murders/sexual assaults of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her daughters, Hayley and Michaela, in their Cheshire home in 2007. The girls' father, William Petit, survived the ordeal, and had to suffer through the trials of the two men who murdered his family.

Kelly Park on 10-month-old baby: "I love abusing this kid."

If you're gonna abuse your 10-month-old baby, do yourself a favor and don't videotape it. Then do the rest of us a favor and jump in front of a bus.

A Connecticut woman could have used that advice earlier this month, when police say she shot some video of herself abusing her 10-month-old daughter and then sending them to the baby's father, threatening to further harm the girl.

According to authorities, 20-year-old Kellie Park sent her baby-daddy text messages accompanying the videos saying "I'll ... break her face," ''I'll beat her ... face in" and "I love abusing this kid."

Sounds like a real sweetheart, ay?

Convicted serial killer Rodney Alcala says he didn't murder two New York women in the 1970s. Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance thinks otherwise.

A California serial killer -- who once appeared as "bachelor number one" on the 1970s dating show "Dating Game" -- was in a Manhattan courtroom this morning where he pleaded not guilty to all charges stemming from the murders of two women more than 30 years ago.

In all, Rodney Alcala, 68, has been charged with one count each of felony murder, intentional murder, and second-degree murder after new evidence fingered him in the murders of two 23-year-old women -- TWA flight attendant Cornelia Crilley, and Ciro's heiress Ellen Hover -- in New York in 1971 and 1977.

Convicted killer Rodney Alcala is coming to New York.

There's good news and bad news...

The bad news is a cold-blooded serial killer is coming to New York. The good news he'll be under lock and key the entire time he's here.

California serial killer Rodney Alcala is en-route to the Big Apple where he'll face murder charges in the deaths of two women in the 1970s.

Alcala's case is the latest in a collection of cold cases Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance has taken on since taking office in 2010.

Yaser Said

The Egyptian-born suspect in the "honor killings" of his two daughters may be hiding out in the New York City area and posing as a cab driver, according to a private detective investigating the murders.

Yaser Said, who is Muslim, is accused of murdering his two daughters in Texas in 2008 because they were dating non-Muslim American boys. Said -- who is a cab driver -- currently is on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list after fleeing Texas after posting bail following his arrested for the murders.

Florida-based private detective Bill Warner says he believes Said might be in the Big Apple because there's a large Egyptian community that he could blend into. Additionally, Said's brother -- who Warner believes is helping bankroll Said's escape from justice -- lives in Westchester County, just north of the city.

On New Year's Day in 2008, Said is accused of gunning down his two teenage daughters -- Amina, 18, and Sarah Said, 17 -- after the girls ran away from home out of fear that their father would kill them because they were becoming too westernized. The girls' American-born mother also fled out of fear Said would kill her.

Remember all those PSAs reminding people to "never shake a baby?" Well, there was a reason for those ads -- shaking a baby is incredibly dangerous (not to mention cruel and sick), a reality that a Queens baby, who currently is fighting for her life, learned the hard way.

Just to make this story slightly more despicable, the baby is only 2 months old.

According to the Queens District Attorney's Office, the baby's father, 27-year-old Israel Garcia, admitted to shaking the baby on several occasions. On Monday, he took his baby-shaking too far, and his daughter is now on life-support at a local hospital with bleeding to the brain and other life-threatening injuries.

The above video was made by a New Jersey man whose 10-year-old son was tormented, mocked, and degraded by his special ed teacher and a teacher's aide at a school in New Jersey. His son, Akian, is a child with autism.

Akian's father, Stuart Chaifetz, was worried when he started getting notes sent home from Akian's school -- the Horace Mann Elementary School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey -- saying his son was having violent outbursts. Confused because his son had never been violent before, Chafietz sent Akian to school on February 17, with a "wire." What was captured on the audio recording is some of the most despicable stuff we've ever heard.
