Unfunny Tea Party Comedian Writes For Andrew Breitbart's Sites

We could only make it about a minute into this thing, but perhaps you'll have better luck? The Tea Party apparently has comedians now, including this guy Eric Golub. Sample quote: "The left should love Sarah Palin. She has a beautiful, adorable special needs child... For that reason alone, the left should worship Sarah Palin and adopt her as one of their own. Because the leftist haters are an entire political ideology of special needs children." ...Ha. Who is he, though?

Jack Davis Commercial: Worst Campaign Ad Ever?

Tea Partier Jack Davis is running for the New York 26th congressional district seat (also known as the Chris Lee seat). This ad is really something. It looks like a community theater troupe made it in ten minutes flat. "Will Mom be okay?" Obviously not, unless you elect Jack Davis.

Is White America Going Infertile? The Tea Party Frets.

WhiteAmerica.jpg
Right Wing Watch alerts us that the Tea Party Nation sent out an e-mail blast this morning with a message from Rick Swier, who warned that the "The White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) population in America is headed for extinction and with it our economy, well-being and survival as a uniquely America culture."

Warning that the "country is dying not because it is aging, it is dying because of infertility as public policy," Swiers writers that some of the reasons white people are doomed are because:

A Potential Article For the Tea Party Magazine

TeaParty.jpg
My, What a Teeny Hat That Patriot Is Wearing
The official Tea Party magazine, the Tea Party Review, is set to be released next week. They recently announced some of the stories they will be running, including "Obama's War on the First Amendment... and the Rest of the Constitution" and "The Left's War on Science and Reason." We here at Runnin' Scared simply can't wait for this sure-to-be-awesome rag to come out -- so we've written an article on spec from one of their actual headlines:

Scientology Gets Fact Checked, Huffington Post Gets Overrated, Tea Party Gets a Magazine

Yesterday, we praised Lawrence Wright's cover story in The New Yorker, a 24,195-word mega-exposé about Hollywood writer/producer/director Paul Haggis' defection from the corrupt and crazy Church of Scientology after 35 years. Today, NPR's Fresh Air has a behind-the-scenes look at the magazine's journalistic process, including just how many fact checkers were required and how many queries the Church was given to make sure the notoriously litigious group could be reported on accurately. Meanwhile, The Huffington Post, newly in the money, is way more reader-friendly than the New York Times, over-argues one media writer. Paywall politics, the Tea Party's new magazine and more, inside Press Clips, our daily media round-up. (Tips about media goings on? Talk here.)

Arizona Shooting Victim Arrested for Tea Party Threat

The latest from the Tucson shootings: James Eric Fuller, 63, who was wounded in Jared Lee Loughner's attack, was arrested last night at a town hall meeting. Fuller took a picture of Tea Party leader Trent Humphries and shouted, "You're dead." He's also been taken in for a psychiatric exam.

Tea Party Donor Is Brain-Dead, Investigation Reveals

brain-dead-joan-holmes.jpg
Tea Party donor's actual tombstone.
For the past two years, a dead person has contributed thousands of political-campaign dollars to the Tea Party Express, according to an investigation by Michael Beckel of the Center for Responsive Politics. He calls it "political gifts from beyond the grave," referring to donations made by Joan Snyder Holmes of Guam.

Cremated in 2007 (her ashes resting in Arlington National Cemetery), Holmes nevertheless donated $2,500 in 2009 to Our Country Deserves Better PAC. Last September, she gave $5,000 more. Her widower husband, Lee Holmes, denies that he made the donations in her name, according to Beckel's story.

Gun-Control Poll? We're Divided. But a Note to Liberals: Run for Your Lives!

Pew-poll-gun-control-1-13-11.jpg
Pew Research
This graphic shows the overall even split in opinion from the Pew Research Center poll about gun control. It's about 50-50. But read on for the detailed breakdown, touted today by the pretty rigorously nonpartisan and pro outfit. Just be warned: The poll, taken before assassin Jared Loughner struck, indicates that 78 percent of people identified as belonging to the "Tea Party Movement," whatever the hell that really is, agree with the idea of protecting the right to own guns and only 18 percent agree with the idea of controlling gun ownership. That's a more radical stance than for any of the numerous categories in the poll--which include race, ideology, income, gender, education, geography, party, region, and religion. Not surprising, but enough to perhaps make some wussy liberals flee to the hills. Many New Yorkers are fleeing to gun shops.

Tea Party Candidate Pictured Repeatedly Wearing a Nazi Uniform For Fun

reenactorfest_sized.jpg
When America watched its sweetheart Sandra Bullock get humiliated by her philandering husband Jesse James, the salaciousness was compounded by the fact that not only was the man sleeping with a porn star, but he was sleeping with a porn star who liked to dress up like to dress up like a Nazi. And not only was he screwing the Nazi porn star, but he himself liked to dress like a Nazi every now and then. And take pictures! But at least he wasn't running for political office.

No Longer Naked Cowboy Announces 2012 Bid for President

rsz_nakedpres1.jpg
"America, you can count on me to be conservative through and through!" announced an unusually clothed Robert Burck in Times Square today. Burck, in case somehow you don't know, is better known as the Times Square tourist fixture "The Naked Cowboy" -- a gig for which he dons only a cowboy hat, briefs, and boots. But beneath that exterior, he's interested in eliminating the death tax and implementing stricter immigration policy.
